Amare breaking down has more to do with the lockout than anything else. He came into the team fat. He went mini Shawn Kemp circa 1999 and packed on so many pounds he lost his explosion which he relied on.

He was already breaking down though. The back issue isn't new as he had lower back issues last year. This time it just got worse with the bulging disc. Lockout didn't help I'll agree but it isn't the full reason as to why he is breaking down.
