EVOLVE 43 Results:
Premier Athlete Brand opened the show. So Cal Val open delivered a promo about losing the tag titles at Evolve 42. She tried to recruit Roderick Strong, saying he was watching because he was on his flight to New York and she said she left him a key to her hotel room to talk business.

1. Rey Horus over Anthony Nese. Very good, very entertaining match. The crowd was into the entire match. It was a very good idea to have two men who can go start off the show to wake up the New York crowd. I had a great laugh when I heard the referee's name was Adam West. Anthony Nese and Caleb Konley had a disagreement after the match.

2. Davey Richards defeated Caleb Konley. Davey grabbed the mic and cut a promo about wanting an Evolve Championship. He popped the crowd when he told SoCal that if she wanted to talk she should take off her top and she could talk all night long. All I can say this match was epic. Great match. Davey Richards is probably one of the best wrestlers to watch live. I have seen a lot of Caleb Konley and it's nice see how much he as improved over the years.

3. T.J. Perkins over Mike Bailey. This was an MMA style match. I was very disappointed in T.J. Perkins. It seemed like he kind of mailed it in compared to his usual standards. Mike Bailey exceeded my expectations. He came out in karate uniform, but by the end of match what can I say I'm fan now. He performed a freaking standing Red Arrow.

4. Chris Hero defeated Trevor Lee. Amazing match. So far, this was the match of the night. There was an amazing finish. Hero did a lot to put over Lee. He hit him with three elbows then a pile driver and then a tombstone piledriver for the finish. Post match, Hero faked a post match attack and instead raised his hand.

5. Johnny Gargano and Rich Swann defeated Drew Gulak and Tracey Williams to retain the Open the United Gate Tag Titles.A very fun tag team title match. It was really cool how these teams have totally opposites style and how well it gelled into one hell of a match. Swann cut a post match promo about how awesome facing men like that is. Gargano cut a promo saying Dragon Gate USA is the past and they vacated Dragon Gate USA United Gate Championships. He said they retired the titles, and they said they want a new title made called the Evolve Tag Team Championships.

6. Drew Galloway defeated Biff Busick to retain the DGUSA Open The Freedom Gate Championship. Great main event. They brawled into crowd and broke someone's chair. I'm glad for the poor fan that this came at the end of the show. This was my match of the night. I loved the ending to the match. Galloway cut a post match promo about his match tomorrow night at Evolve 44 with Roderick Strong. Gargano came out and asked Galloway to retire the DGUSA Open Freedom Gate Championship, but Galloway told him to kiss his ass. He offered Gargano a rematch, which I am very excited for, then Galloway made his exit. Gargano cut a promo on "All Ego" Ethan Page for their match on Sunday Evolve 44, and thanked the crowd for coming.

EVOLVE 44 Results:
1. Ethan Page defeated Johnny Gargano. Solid fun opener. Gargano got on the mic to start the show and said that he wants Page and he’s going to make him leave WWN forever. He wants to start the show facing Page. Lots of nice action overall with Page winning. He shook Gargano’s hand while he was down on the mat. This feud is far from over.

2. Trevor Lee defeated Rich Swann. Fun match. Swann is always fun to watch. Some nice crazy spots with Trevor picking up the win. Good stuff.

3. Rey Horus defeated Tracy Williams. Pretty solid match Kind of quick with Horus getting the win out of nowhere, which led to Anthony Nese and Caleb Konley coming out and jumping Horus, which led to TJ Perkins coming out and saving Rey from the beatdown which then led to….

4. The Premiere Athlete Brand defeated Rey Horus and TJ Perkins. This was a fun match. Lots of crazy action and crazy fun spots. The crowd loved every minute of this match. This was a lot of fun. So Cal Val had her skirt removed and TJ chased her away. Val is just a great heel and she cuts great promos too. She did a promo trying to get Roderick Strong to join.

Biff Busick defeated Mike Bailey. Fun technical match. They both fought their hearts out and put on a great classic match. Biff is awesome and always great to see. Live, both got great responses too.

6. Davey Richards defeated Drew Gulak. Fun match but the crowd kind of drifted away during this. Lots of chain wrestling and technical wrestling with Davey winning. I hope he gets an EVOLVE title shot over Florida weekend.

7. Drew Galloway defeated Roderick Strong to retain the EVOLVE title. Val came out and asked Roderick to join the PAB only for drew to tell her if she leaves, he will give Nese or Konley a title shot. Strong grabbed the mic and said this feud started months ago. They kicked each other’s ass in the steel cage and they kicked each other’s ass in the parking lot, but they will end it once and for all. Fun match. I thought it could of went longer but they really put on a fun title match. Some crazy chopping on the outside of the ring that you’ve got to see to believe. They brawled but most of the action stayed in the ring. It was fun. Drew really got pissed telling roddy to stay down giving him his finisher five times in a row to put him away. The crowd gave them a warm response after, showing them respect Drew got on the mic and said he loves wrestling. He’s glad he’s got to wrestle Roderick strong. He was passionate in his promo he put over his feud with Roddy. Nese and Konley came out and beatdown drew. Val told Drew he will defend his EVOLVE title against Trent Barretta on 7/11 live in Orlando at EVOLVE 46. That should be awesome. Roddy helped Drew to chase away the PAB.

Overall, a fun night of EVOLVE. I give EVOLVE 44 a 8.5/10. Great night. Great atmosphere was unique. I’d like to see them run here again.

Looking forward to watching this tomorrow and on Friday.

Sooo, EVOLVE 44 was a good show.

- Page vs Gargano was a solid show opener. What Page did post-match was some good heel tactics.

- Trevor Lee vs Swann was fun to watch.

- Rey vs Williams was OK for what it was, but it served its purpose and set up the following tag match w/ Rey & TJ teaming gainst TPAB.

- TPAB vs Rey Horus & TJ Perkins was decent.

- Biff Busick vs Mike Bailey was great. MOTN for me.

- Davey Richards vs Drew Gulak was good.
Also, LOL'd at Lenny saying Davey reminds him of a young Mike Tyson. :dawg:

- Galloway vs Roddy was a good ME.
