Eric Bischoff Praises John Cena

TNA's Eric Bischoff tweeted the following during last night's Rock/Cena segment, praising Cena for his mic work:

Nice from Bischoff but where has Eric been the past couple years..? Cena's mic work has always been pretty good but the one thing I'm disliking as of late from Cena is him constantly breaking kayfabe.

Na Cena's mic work has always been pretty shitty with the bad humor and laughing at his own lame jokes. It's only good when he acts completely serious which it was last night.

How are you gonna dislike Cena for breaking kayfabe yet you're a CM Punk fan and his main event push came from him breaking kayfabe? lol. You're only saying that cause Rock's comments about breaking kayfabe. Don't see a bit of issue about him doing it considering he made it fit.

But anyways you can question Cena's material as he doesn't really do comedy go when he goes all cheesy with it. But you can hardly question his ability on the mic.

I agree with the statement that Cena's mic work is actually really good. When he's forced to be serious, that's when he's at his best. But even some of his comedy material can be decent.

When he stays away from the really crap gay jokes he's alright.

I have no idea why everyones been fapping over his promos during this feud tho, I just see same old Cena.

If it was for those lame jokes he and Punk would be 1A and 1B in terms of mic work.

For me, it's the fact that he actually shows emotion in his promos. Very few guys are doing that now. He makes you feel like he doesn't just hate The Rock, but he hates Dwayne Johnson. It's a very respectable quality

I don't see the difference other then going from poopy jokes to saying Rock is never here but I am where in reality that is the problem he's there and pulling a Hogan on screen with his superman crap

Yeah, I think that's it right there. You believe Cena. You may have probs with his success or his ring work (which has gotten better), but never his work ethic or his honesty.

There's no doubt Cena has the ability to be one of the best, it's just that he rarely ever delivers them in my opinion. You have to sift through 9 totally corny, awkward promos just to get that one serious, damn good promo.

Because The Rock is all serious in this feud as of late with rarely any kayfabe breaking (maybe none at all) and then there's Cena who breaks kayfabe and calls Rock out on things unexpectedly and what not. There is also his cheesy ass grin when Rock goes serious too.

You are aware that's WWE pushing him to the moon right?

Honestly, Cena has been one of the best on the mic, since day one. I've always enjoyed his mic work.

Sometimes I got the impression Cena was trying to hard but the feud with Rock has brought out the best in him

So what if Rock doesn't do it doesn't mean that the other person is supposed to do the same thing he does. Cena doesn't have anybody write his promos so he adlibs just like of the best mic workers do like Punk, Triple H, etc. Cena has a legit dislike for him in some ways and it only helps the feud realness factor so why not do it as long as it fits. If Rock broke kayfabe I know you wouldn't have a single problem with it because Rock did it and it was against Cena. Lets also not pretend that Rock has been more serious in this feud than he has been joking. As guilty as Cena has been with his smiling and grining during serious moments Rock is just as guilty spending 10 plus minutes on stuff that doesn't even build the feud. I get you're a big Rock fan but you're being overly biased when it comes to this acting like breaking kayfabe shouldn't be used against Rock just because of who he is or something.
