Backstory

What if the unthinkable happened and All Elite Wrestling and World Wrestling Entertainment joined forces?

WELCOME TO ELITE ENTERTAINMENT

This takes place after WrestleMania 39 and happens and that’s why certain people are champions where they aren’t champion in real life. Also ROH shut down and wasn’t brought back.

AEW X WWE FORBIDDEN DOOR II

The commentary team of Corey Graves from World Wrestling Entertainment and Excalibur from All Elite Wrestling welcomed the fans in attendance to the Buy In for AEW X WWE Forbidden
Door II - Winner Takes All.

Match 1: Damage Control V Ruby Soho, Toni Storm & Saraya
The first of four matches that would make up the card for Buy In was a six woman tag team match that saw WWE represented by Damage Control take on the AEW trio of Ruby Soho, Toni Storm and Saraya.
Soho got the win for her team after she hit Destination Unknown on Kai for the pin.
Winners: Ruby Soho, Toni Storm & Saraya

The Acclaimed V The Street Profits

Next the duo of Max Caster & Anthony Bowens aka the Acclaimed faced off with Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford collectively known as the Street Profits. The end saw Dawkins attempt and hit his AD Spinebuster on Bowens for the pin.

Winners: The Street Profits

House of Black V Legado Del Fantasma
After that the current AEW Trio’s Champions took on WWE’s Legado Del Fantasma in a non-title six man tag team match. While Buddy Matthews & Brody King brawled with Joaquin Wilde & Cruz Del Toro at ringside back in the ring Malakai Black fought his way out of an attempted Phantom Driver from Santos Escobar and landed on his feet behind his opponent. From here Black spun Escobar around and spat black mist into the eyes of Escobar and laid him out with Black Mass for the pin.
Winners: House of Black

Match 4: Roxanne Perez V Jade Cargill

In the final match of the Buy In the NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez faced the TBS Women’s Champion Jade Cargill. Perez got what some might consider an upset victory over Cargill after she reversed an attempted Jaded into a roll up.
Winner: Roxanne Perez

END OF BUY IN

PAY PER VIEW

The commentary team of Michael Cole from World Wrestling Entertainment and Tony Schiavone from All Elite Wrestling welcomed the fans in attendance to AEW X WWE Forbidden Door II - Winner takes All.

Match 1: The Guns V Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn V Gallus
The pay per view opened with a three way tag team match pitting the current AEW, WWE and NXT tag team champions against each other. Kevin Owens would isolate Austin Gunn in the ring while Sami Zayn dived out of the ring onto Colten Gunn and Gallus at ringside. From here Owens laid Austin out with a KO Stunner and covered him for the pin.
Winners: Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn

Match 2: Dr Britt Baker DMD V Becky Lynch

Next Dr.Britt Baker DMD face Becky Lynch in a one on one match, these two women tore the house down for just shy of ten minutes. Eventually Baker trapped Lynch in the Lockjaw and the latter had to submit.
Winner: Dr Britt Baker DMD

Match 3: Death Triangle V The Bloodline

After that the trio of Rey Fenix, Pentagon Jr & PAC aka Death Triangle took on the Bloodline’s Jimmy & Jey Uso & Solo Sikoa in six man tag team action. After around twelve minutes Sikoa hit a Samoan Spike on a springboarding Rey Fenix for the pin.
Winners: The Bloodline

Match 4: Orange Cassidy V Austin Theory V Wes Lee

The fourth match of the night saw the AEW All Atlantic Champion Orange Cassidy, the WWE US Champion Austin Theory and NXT North American Champion Wes Lee face off in a triple threat match. Which was won by OC after he hit an Orange Punch on Theory who had laid Lee out with the A-Town Down.
Winner: Orange Cassidy

Match 5: Will Hobbs V Carmelo Hayes V Hook V Gunther

Then the current AEW TNT Champion “Powerhouse” Will Hobbs competed against the trio of the NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes, AEW FTW Champion Hook and WWE Intercontinental Champion Gunther in a fatal fourway match.
The “Ring General” aka Gunther got the better of Hobbs and hit a Powerbomb and followed it up by dragging him up and hitting a Clothesline for the pin.
Winner: Gunther

Match 6: Seth Rollins V Jon Moxley - Lights Out

Next Seth Rollins and Jon Moxley went to war in a brutal and bloody lights out match which saw a variety of weapons used by both men. Fifteen minutes later, Moxley would be the last man standing . He did this by laying Rollins out with a Paradigm Shift and then grabbed a steel chain and wrapped it around the former’s throat and locked in a Bulldog Choke and Rollins passed out.
Winner: Jon Moxley
Post-Match

Moxley helped Rollins up and hugged him, apparently beating the shit out of each other squashes any issues between two men.

Match 7: The Elite V The New Day
The third last match of the event was a match that was years in the making and also marked the in ring return of Big E As the Elite’s Kenny Omega, Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson take on the New Day aka Big E, Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston in a thrilling six man tag team match. E took Matt out with the Big Ending, Nick laid E out with a Superkick, Kingston hit the S.O.S on Nick. Omega threw Kingston out of the ring and hit a V-Trigger on Woods for the pin.
Winners: The Elite

Match 8: Jamie Hayter V Asuka V Rhea Ripley

A thrilling women’s division triple threat match served as the penultimate match of the evening it featured the AEW Women’s Champion Jamie Hayter the WWE RAW Women’s Champion Asuka and the WWE Smackdown Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley. Hayter attempted to lay Asuka out with a Ripcord Lariat but on the Lariat part Asuka ducked and then spat mist into the eyes of Hayter. Ripley pushed Asuka from behind into Hayter and then laid Asuka out with the Riptide for the pin.
Winner: Rhea Ripley

Match 9: MJF V Cody Rhodes

Finally the main event saw the AEW World Champion MJF go one on one with the “American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes in what must have been a real life nightmare for the former. Seeing as Maxwell Jacob Friedman was 100% sure he would never see the man he screwed out of the AEW World Championship ever again after Rhodes left AEW.

It looked like the main event would end the same way as the duo’s previous match at AEW Revolution 2020, with MJF walking out as the victor. He had Rhodes set up for his variation of the Cross Rhodes aka the Double Cross only for the latter to fight out of it. From here Rhodes put MJF in position for and hit a trifecta of Cross Rhodes for the pin.
Winner: Cody Rhodes

After that Tyler Bate took on Tommaso in a EE World Championship first round match.

The Miz V Solo Sikoa
The fourth match of the event was the fourth and final first round match of the EE World Championship Tournament which saw The Miz and Solo Sikoa go one on one. Elite Entertainment World Championship Tournament

After that the first EE World Championship semi final match saw Xyon Quinn take on Tyler Bate. Bate would show Quinn the error of his ways by hitting a Tyler Driver 97 off of the top rope for the pin.
Winner & Advancing: Tyler Bate

Elite Entertainment World Championship Tournament
Wardlow V Solo Sikoa

The penultimate match of the night saw Wardlow challenge the “Samoan Savage” Solo Sikoa with the winner going onto the main event. The two men beat several shades of shit out of each other but it would be Sikoa who stood victorious.
After hitting a Samoan Spike and then following it up with a Samoan Splash from the top rope.

Winner & Advancing: Solo Sikoa

Back at the commentary desk Michael Cole and Tony Schiavone gave their thoughts about the tournament so far and this led into a recap video of the opening and semi final matches.

Elite Entertainment World Championship Tournament Final
Tyler Bate V Solo Sikoa

Finally the main event of the night saw the “Big Strong Boy” Tyler Bate go to war with the “Samoan Savage” Solo Sikoa to crown the first ever EE World Champion.
Both men showed obvious wounds from their previous tournament matches, for Bate that meant beating Tommaso Ciampa and Xyon Quinn and for Sikoa that meant beating The Miz and Wardlow to get here. Sikoa brutalized Bate for majority of the match but Bate would dodge an attempted Samoan Spike and hit the ropes and caught himself on them then used the momentum to hit a Clothesline for the pin.

Blackpool Combat Club w Jon Moxley & Bryan Danielson
V

The Brawling Brutes w Pete Dunne
After that Claudio Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta of the Blackpool Combat Club faced Sheamus & Ridge Holland of the Brawling Brutes in tag team action. If I had to describe this match in one word I would choose brutal, as the quartet of men beat the hell out of each other.
In the end it came down to the former tag team partners of Claudio Castagnoli and Sheamus with the latter attempting a Brogue Kick and the former ducking it and grabbing the Irishman and laying him out with a Ricola Bomb for the pin.

Winners: Blackpool Combat Club

Seth Rollins V Swerve Strickland
The fourth match saw Seth Rollins go one on one with Swerve Strickland in singles action. The two men went back and forth for around fifteen minutes and the ending saw Strickland attempt to hit his Swerve Stomp on his opponent but Rollins got out of the way at the last minute. This resulted in Strickland landing unsteadily on his feet and made him a prime target for Rollins who got back to his feet, kicked his opponent in the gut and hit the Curb Stomp for the pin.
Winner: Seth Rollins

Santos Escobar w Legado Del Fantasma V Scorpio Sky w Ethan Page
Next was a one on one match between the leader of Legado Del Fantasma who had his stablemates in his corner and Scorpio Sky who had Ethan Page in his corner.

After that Ortiz & Santana aka Proud & Powerful competed in a tag team action against Stu Grayson & Evil Uno of the Dark Order who had John Silver & Alex Reynolds in their corner.

Winners: Los Facción Ingobernables

Elite Entertainment World Championship

Tyler Bate(c) V AJ Styles
Finally the main event of the night was the first defense of the newly crowned Elite Entertainment World Champion Tyler Bate as he defended against the “Phenomenal” AJ Styles. The two men shook hands as a sign of mutual respect and then proceeded to tear the house down for twenty minutes, the ending saw Styles attempt his Phenomenal Forearm only to be caught on Bate’s shoulders who used the momentum to turn it into an Airplane Spin.
From here Bate picked Styles up and hit the Tyler Driver 97 for the pin.

Women of Elite Entertainment: Chapter Two

Corey Graves & Excalibur welcomed the fans in attendance to Women of Elite Entertainment Chapter Two

The “Priestess” Scarlett Bordeaux V Sky Blue

The show opened with a singles match between the “Priestess” Scarlett Bordeaux and Sky Blue. The latter knocked her opponent down with her Blue in the Face (Superkick) and then dragged to one of the corners and climbed up to the top rope. Blue jumped off of it and hit her Blue Sky (450) finisher for the pin.

Winner: Sky Blue

Backstage two pre taped promos played the first from the “Professor of Pro Wrestling” Serena Deeb who promised Roxanne Perez she would twist her into a lot of pain tonight. The second from Perez who cut a typical babyface promo and stated that she would do everything she could to get the win tonight.

Serena Deeb V Roxanne Perez

Next the “Professor of Pro Wrestling” Serena Deeb and Roxanne Perez faced off in a singles match. Deeb dominated early on seemingly incensed in being successful in her pre match statement about putting Perez in a lot of pain. In the end though Perez would rise about the pain and hit Pop Rocks for the pin.

Winner: Roxanne Perez

Backstage two pre taped promos played out the first from Saraya who stated that she didn’t have time to face a reject like Ripley and would make short work of her. The second was from her opponent the “Adelaide Annihilator” Rhea Ripley who laughed and warned her opponent not to get dragged down by the Riptide.

Saraya V Rhea Ripley

Ripley dominated Saraya and put an end to the very one sided match with the Riptide for the pin.

Winner: Rhea Ripley

Backstage two pre taped promos played out the first from the “Runaway” Ruby Soho who said she respected opponent aka Riho but followed it up saying that she would end up in Destination Unknown. Then it was Riho’s turn to cut a promo. She said that win or lose she would try her hardest to be the winner.

Ruby Soho V Riho

After that Ruby Soho took on Riho in singles action and it was evenly split between the two women. The ending saw Riho knock her opponent down and then go over to the closest corner and climbed up. From here Riho attempted a Diving Double Foot Stomp only for Soho to move out of the way at the last second which resulted in an unsteady landing for her. Soho capitalized by returning to her feet and grabbed Riho and hit Destination Unknown for the pin.

Winner: Ruby Soho

Backstage pre-recorded promos from the two teams that would take part in the fifth match of the event. The first was from the duo of Nikki Cross & Piper Niven who told their opponents that they were going to get scorched by some Scottish Fire.
