Does The Sound Of Clapping Annoy The Piss Out Of Anyone Else?

It's one of my pet peeves and the sound of it just annoys me for some reason. It seems odd (then again, I'm odd) but I was wondering if anyone shared this annoyance. I was watching an old Marc Mero match yesterday and the way Sable kept clapping during a large portion of the match just started to grate on me. I especially hate it when a whole room of people all clap at once like at the WWE Hall Of Fame or the Oscars, etc.

Not really but rustling does. When you're in a room full of people watching a film or play and someone is constantly rustling a bag or packet it grates so much.

I can deal with clapping, providing it doesn't go on for too long.
Whistling, on the other hand, makes me want to kick the culprit in the throat.

If it is one to a few people, no but if it is a crowd, yes, the sound is not pleasing to my ears.
