Disco Inferno Criticizes Use of Foreign Wrestlers

TOTAL NONSTOP ACTION
Do you also agree with Disco's stance that women have no place in wrestling?

Don’t know if he said that, if he did I disagree. Just because I agree with one correct statement he made doesn’t mean I agree with every.

Either way doesn’t change the fact of this specific tweet so I don’t get your angle here.

Disco still believes that wrestling is just for people who speak English as their first language. Backwards

When did he say that?

There multiple wrestling markets with different languages & countries.

Disco is talking about United States wrestling, he never said it’s only for people who speak english, it for everyone.

However don’t expect to be a big draw unless you can talk in the English language as United States wrestling is a storyline and character market.

Andre the Giant, had to learn English and became a charismatic promo cutter in English to the point where he was cast in Princess Bride. he wasn’t the top draw in North America pre Hogan only because he was a giant.

Learning English only the first step.

What is your definition of United States wrestling? If its is WWE, AEW, Impact. Then they are Global Wrestling brand.

United States Wrestling is like the minor promotions.

The point is that he has a very backward, outdated view of the industry

Doesn’t matter if they’re global or national brands, in the United States, no wrestling company is huge mainstream anymore, those companies don’t draw and are irrelevant in the United States.

Meaning what they’re doing is not connecting with the United States wrestling market.

The very fact that Professional Wrestling in the United States is the least popular it’s ever been, the fact that it’s irrelevant and not mainstream, and continues to decline in popular shows that Disco is objectively correct.
