Wrestling Observer Newsletter said:
Devon, whose contract with TNA Wrestling is reportedly set to expire this week, suggested on Twitter Wednesday evening that he’s parting ways with the organization effective immediately.

The TNA Television Champion wrote, “I would like to thank the tna fans for making the last seven years fun . im sure we will see each other again down the road real soon.

“im ready to see where god bring me to next. i cant wait . i see big thing on the way

“o and HELL NO IM NOT RETIRING.â€

It would appear that his departure is due to both parties being unable to reach an agreement on a new contract. He re-tweeted a message stating, “I’ll say this you boys deserve what ever you’re asking for plus 25%.â€

Bully Ray, whose contract will also expire this week, suggested on Twitter that he will part ways with the organization in October at Bound For Glory, which takes place in Phoenix, Arizona.

“Dont mattah where ya start..mattahs where ya finish. See ya in Phoenix!! STRONGEST THE LONGEST. #BULLYNATION,†he wrote.
Can't see Ray staying in TNA if Devon is on the way out so could probably see them back as a team in WWE as it's not like I see these guys going the indy route.

How is that Bully tweet suggesting he's leaving? He's like the 15th TNA guy to say "See you at Bound for Glory." Devon doesn't belong in singles wrestling, Bubba is one of the best in TNA, I want him to stay. But if not, I can't wait for "Be a Star Ray" to debut.

If he is smart he is going to reunite the Dudleys.

If they're done with TNA, I don't see them going back to WWE. So they'll either be concentrating on their school or be combining that with working Indy dates together.

If Ray was smart he would stay with TNA as this maybe his big shot in singles there. As for Devon that is one guy TNA won't miss in singles anyway. His departure gives them a chance to actually do something with the TV Title.

Devon goes, then Bully Ray goes as well. Hope they come back to the WWE in the future once this bullshit TNA lawsuit that the dumbfucks started is over.

^ Will be interested to see how Ray fares back in WWE, but the Dudleys have peaked as a team it would be a mistake getting them back together. I just think Ray has better prospects in TNA right now.

It's only been about a year since they've started pushing Bully. I think TNA would give him whatever it takes
to keep him before letting him go.

If the Dudleys return to WWE, then I will finally believe that WWE wants to really push the tags.

I have been saying for a while now that all they need is one established team to elevate the current tags, and out of every option that has been available, this looks like the best possible option.

I still don't see any other reason than money why should Bully Ray leave TNA for WWE. Also, Ray loves the fact that he can improvise on the fly and piss off undercard guys just for the fun of it. He wouldn't be able to do that in WWE to the same extent.

They will prol get a short main event run (as a team) and a HOF induction.

Can't see them getting binned off into the tag division tbh.

Ray is getting a pretty good push right now with TNA, so I don't see him really leaving. Devon hasn't really had much to offer as a singles guy, but I wouldn't mind him managing prime time players, helping them actually get good.

The HOF induction would be worth the bin for them.

If they got an induction, could mean a whole ECW styled HOF ceremony.

I'd take them back as a team in a heartbeat, a year spent in the tag division could really revive it from there and then Bubba could easily go into singles competition given what he's done in TNA so far.
