D-Von Dudley Says A Lot Of Today’s Young Talent Are “Disrespectful” And “Rude”

Buffy

The Vampire Slayer
On an episode of Table Talk, Fred Rosser (fka WWE’s Darren Young) spoke with WWE Hall of Famer D-Von Dudley and others. After the interview, Dudley commented on how Rosser is one of the great guys in wrestling, which isn’t always the case with today’s younger wrestlers.

“You’ve got to understand nowadays in this business the young guys that are brought up in this business, they’re disrespectful, they’re rude,” Dudley said. “Generation X, which is my generation, the Attitude Era and all of that, yes, we had attitude, but there was one thing I will say about my generation is that we respect those who came before us. And that’s one of the problems that we have with a lot of young talent.

“Darren along with a host of other guys, I’m just going to name them, — Drew McIntyre, Rusev and even, Sheamus, they always had respect for the older talent that came in and always wanted to pick our brains. And it was great being in the locker room with those guys, it really was.”

Somewhat related, The Undertaker also commented about today’s product being “soft” compared to his days in the business, which drew reactions from others including WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley, WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg, and Roman Reigns.

You can check out the full episode (Dudley’s comments are at the 36:35 mark) in the video below.

I don't hate Bubba by any means he's a fantastic heel but Devon was apart of gnarly ass shit. He shouldn't be callin' out younger wrestlers like this unless he addresses the shit he was apart of.

Another fuckin' boomer reminiscing about 'well back in my day things were like this.' Yeah i'm sure it's totally a todays generation issue and everyone before them were perfectly respectful and never did anything wrong.

This is also the same dipshit a few weeks ago who was pissed at the dirtsheets so he decided to come out as gay to see if they would print it, only then to run it back and go LOL im not actually gay.

TOTAL NONSTOP ACTION
To wrestlers of his generation, "respect" means "taking bullying and harassment from your elders and accepting it". I'm glad those days are passing.

If you can't handle bullyin', you're soft.

Edit: I shouldn't have been that blunt. It's just a simple fact that not everyone is gonna be nice and be your friend. If someone is puttin' ya down. Don't just take it, get pushed around, maybe even beat up. You punch that asshole in the face and you stand up for yourself. If you cry on social media for sympathy, you already lost.

HELL IS NOT A MYTH
This particular take really doesn't matter. This is just a cycle that will always repeat itself. The guys from Bruno's era probably though the Golden Age guys were disrespectful. The Golden Age guys probably thought the Monday Night Wars era guys were disrespectful. Those guys probably thought the Ruthless Aggression era guys were disrespectful. The RA era guys think the current day wrestlers are disrespectful. Or at least some amount of each generation sees is that way, because a lot of people get old and are angry when society changes. There's always gonna be these people, it is what it is.

The thing about “disrespectful young people” is, it’s his generation and mine who raised them....so maybe he should have a look at himself and think about that.

Society is full of pussies because of the crybaby parents....which is fucking embarrassing because neither of our generations were raised to be pussies so not sure where this garbage all came from.
