made this build and bought it just now. inb4 @Solidus yells at me for going completely off his suggested build. I can just imagine his next reply starting with "hoss, you fucking idiot....." :tyson:

cost me $1,730 total and there's $35 rebate. I know I spent over the price range but I was seriously thinking of the extra $$ on tax I'd have to pay on top of the $1500 so I bumped up the budget more.

there goes my one week's earning. :walter:

Buy a better CPU cooler.
Since its a different build, would the one you linked above work or do you have something else in mind?

seems like some people in the review are saying they had a hard time installing it on the 400r case, not enough space apparently.

Yes, any Corsair H series is fine.
Carbide series is a budget case, look at the Obsidian series or an NZXT Phantom.

Ok thanks. Ordered the Corsair H100i cooler and NZXT Phantom PHAN-001BK case. I can return that other cooler I ordered earlier, right?

If it is from Amazon, yes.
That nzxt is a full size atx case right? I don't recognize that model.

Not sure why the GPU and the HDD prices aren't showing up but they're around another £330.
