Three countout finishes in a row for his RAW mainevents haven't helped at all. One is fine, two is pushing it but three is too many especially in a row. He has been given plenty of offence against HHH and Cena but the endings just haven't been right. Need to give him a clean win on RAW, to go along with his two clean wins over Sin Cara on Smackdown, to continue his build.

Does anyone think he will wrestle at Payback?

Triple H to put over Axel at Payback! BOOK IT!!!

Better idea. Axel squashes Cara, complains about being given "chicken feed" at the pay per view. Trips and Axel have an even match. Cara gets laughed out of the building.

The injury to Fandango worked out well for Curtis Axel. I had wondered who he would face at the PPV and I like that he is now in the IC title match. Surely he would be favourite to win and WWE can then play off the family history even more with the title. Would be a good move to give him some direction because his current RAW Mainevent King of the Countout gimmick didn't have legs.
