Amerie - Because I Love it [2007] 8/10
Slick, and smoothly produced hip hop, she has a compelling voice, and some cheeky lryics, and there are some powerful hooks, and base sounds.
Radiohead - Pablo Honey [1992] 7/10
Lacking in the depth of the Bends and OK Computer, and bit one note in places, but still a very raw, and beauty debut, with iconic tunes like Creep and Anyone Can Play Guitar still standing up today. Much better than most debut LP's.
PJ Harvey - Let England Shake [2011] 8/10
One of her most creative, and beautiful Albums to date.

Mazzy Star - She Hangs Brightly [1994] 8/10
Just stunning vocals, and a very atmospheric background sound, at times almost like the songs have been recorded in a bathroom. There is a range in the music too, as she covers country, blues, and Psychodelic. Star manages to get the bland between being storyteller and singer just right, and haunting yet moving sound.

Laura Marling - Alas I Cannot Swim (2008) 9/10
Poetic, tender, but heartbreaking songs, but due to the witting, sharp observations, it is never a bleak listen. A beautiful voice, and a wonderful songwriter. The good news is she is only in her early twenties, and has all ready produced two classic Albums. This is a special talent, REJOICE!
