Conan’: TBS Sets Final Episode Of Conan O’Brien Talkshow

Conan will come to an end on June 24, 2021.

This comes more than ten years after the former host of The Tonight Show kicked off his eponymous show on TBS.

The final weeks of the show will include a lineup of special guests and the finale will be an extended hour-long finale that will look back at his lengthy late-night career.

O’Brien has fronted more than 1,400 episodes of the show, which launched after the comedian’s acrimonious departure from the NBC show.

Conan, which was re-tooled into a half-hour format in 2019, had previously been renewed through to 2022. The show’s Conan Without Borders travel specials featuring O’Brien traveling to other countries will continue to air on TBS. Conan, which airs Monday through Thursdays at 11pm, is produced by Conaco and exec produced by Jeff Ross.

From June, he will turn his focus to developing a weekly variety show for HBO Max as part of his new deal with WarnerMedia.

Team Coco will produce the new HBO Max weekly show, and the company is already in business with the streamer, making a series of stand-up specials featuring comedians including Chris Redd and Moses Storm.

I haven’t watched his show on TBS in years but this is still a bummer. Conan was always my favorite late night talk show host back in the day.

I’ll for sure be checking out his new HBO show because I feel like it’ll be similar to his original Late Night show.

Conan is one of the few US talk show hosts I actually like. Never very much liked Kimmel, Fallon etc. They all seemed too fake to me, especially Fallon's overly obnoxious laugh that 90% sounds faked.

Conan just felt real and actually made me laugh quite a bit, I also liked his sidekick who I forget the name of who sits in sometimes. He's hilarious.

I still watch his Ice Cube and Kevin Hart videos constantly, absolutely fucking magical

Sad to hear the Show ending, but Conan is one of the most talented guys today and he'll find another project and it will be even better and bigger because he works that hard to make it so like he did with his Show.

I have no doubt Conan will find work. Hell, I think Netflix should offer him some cash. He could really do some great celebrity type things, as all his skits were really entertaining and the best parts of his talk show for me.

I was about to say, Jimmy Kimmel is one of the worst night-show hosts to ever exist and Jimmy Fallon never should have been a Tonight Show host. Those two are pretty clear examples of what is wrong with late-night television nowadays. Guys like Stephen Colbert, David Letterman, Conan, Jon Stewart, and even to a lesser extent Jay Leno were actually somewhat relatable guys that had personality, wit, and class, regardless on whether or not you liked them or disagreed with their views on some things.
