I don't really feel like Big Show was every an exceptional performer by any metric. I certainly have never seen any of his matches that made me go wow that ruled

2011 Big Show wasn’t bad. HITC match with Sheamus still arguably the best match of his career

They'd always be at the most random times you wouldn't expect like a random PPV match against Mark Henry ruled when both were old and barely moving

I won’t necessarily say wow that ruled either but I will say from about 96 to 2000. I enjoyed his character and I enjoyed his matches because usually he tried to do a story and whatnot with it but yeah by 2001 to 2 I no longer care to see him.

he also attempted to do stuff that would be normally outside of a bigger guys wheelhouse back then as well.

I will say I don’t particularly care about seeing him in 2011 but I will say he did move a little better. Once he took that time off and actually allowed his body to heal. It was like at the end of his ECW run and then he came back to do that Floyd match.

Even as a guy who was a fan of Big Show at the time, I was shocked he had motn that night. Like that was definitely up there as one of his best ever
Facts. Definitely on the short list of Giant/Big Show/Paul Wight matches I’d want to rewatch

It’s cause from 2002-2007 he was at his heaviest and not healthy. When he came back in 2008 he lost a good amount of weight and moved a lot better. And yeah that HITC 2011 match is always mentioned as a top tier match and it certainly was.

Yeah, weight effects your health in major ways.
