On this day 37 years ago, we saw the MILLION DOLLAR CHALLENGE edition of Starrcade, the second ever edition of the eventual PPV with a huge main event between Ric Flair and Dusty Rhodes

88 is a good shout, always loved the Windham vs Bigelow match a lot & can't go wrong with the Midnight Express. the booking of the Road Warriors vs Dusty/Sting was always a bummer bc it was so HUGE and didn't feel sufficent, but Dusty gonna Dusty.

Agreed, that tag match was a bit disappointing. I feel like most of those good 80s JCP cards always had that one lol

On this day 38 years ago, the very first Starrcade. Had a Flair collection as a kid with the main event included along with the build so it's nostalgic for me even if it's way before my time lol

On this day in 1987, the last November Starrcade. By 1988, it would become a December tradition as Vince McMahon effectively pre-empted it with the debuting Survivor Series.
