There were/are two issues. I believe the dark style should be all set now. Firefox also has an issue with our DRM system and that actually affects all styles. It wasn’t as noticeable on the light styles since they didn’t have the slowdown issue that the dark style did and that exacerbated the Firefox issue.

You can now use dark and Firefox and it’ll mostly be fine like you can use the lights with Firefox and it’ll mostly be fine. Using chrome or safari however will net the fastest speed and less issues until Firefox either updated itself or I find a fix myself.

To clarify again the dark style was causing the slowdowns that Jayne was experiencing, but Firefox was what causing the embedding issues. Combining these issues is what made the embedding take forever to load on the dark mode.

Can you make the prefixes work too on 2024 light? All the time i've been making threads and adding the prefixes and i've never been on a skin where they've shown.

If I know people are using it, I’ll try to get it up to date with the main style.

I do think there’s an issue on Firefox’s end. Restarting your device is probably a quick fix.

Just chiming in as an Opera user... I had no problems lately with any slow-downs or other big problems. Firefox definitely seems to be the culprit there.

From what I could tell there was some thing about the way the media embeds on our forum through the ad on that I used to make that happen that firefox doesn’t currently know how to handle. if we turned that add-on off firefox would probably be fine.

I can only recommend it, as someone who's using Opera for pretty much 15 years now. Just know that a few sites might not work properly with it or show unusual problems, since a lot of website owners build completely on Chrome and/or Firefox.

Does it have an ad blocker? That’s a big deal for me.
