Okay, this was a really tough choice, as both matches were really great. CMS had the better backstory, and since I haven't seen any Ring of Honor, so I didn't know anything about the four competitors, but spiralshock's was a bit more original. CMS had great length, and spiralshock used the stipulation of the elimination match to great effect. As mentioned, this was a really tough choice, and although I love the hardcore style, I would go for CMS over spiralshock, due to me being familiar with the characters, the good backstory and great length, but also great job spiralshock. Awesome job both of you!

First off, I will just give recognition to both guys for utilising the stipulation with King Lennie making it an elimination tables match, and BKB making it a Survivor Series match. Moving on, although I did really like Lennie's match, I go for BKB as it was longer and it had great action.

Backstory

Back in May of 2008, Kurt Angle shocked the world by attacking AJ Styles, after claiming that he had had an affair with Kurt’s wife, Karen Angle. Despite both AJ and Karen denying it, Kurt would not believe AJ, and an intense rivalry was created between both men. Their first one on one encounter was made for Slammiversary, where Kurt and AJ would meet in a singles match. After a gruelling encounter AJ Styles came out victorious, after hitting the Styles Clash, and making the pin. After the match, AJ was brutalised by Tomko and AJ, leaving AJ in a bloody mess.

That wasn’t enough for Kurt though, as he wasn’t done with AJ. They continued feuding throughout July, and at Victory Road, they met as a part of a Six Man Tag Team Full Metal Mayhem, with AJ teaming with Christian Cage and Rhino, and Kurt teaming with Team 3D. This match ended, after Angle hit an Olympic Slam on AJ off a ladder, through a table, and then pinned him.

The rivalry continued to rage on though, and it all lead up to Hard Justice. After Angle came out to attack AJ yet again on iMPACT!, Jim Cornette came out and announced that the two men would meet once again at Hard Justice, although this time, it would be in Three Stages of Hell. The first fall would be a Hardcore Match, the second a Submission Match, the third a Last Man Standing Match. This all set up the match for Hard Justice.​

I Am plays throughout the arena, as AJ Styles walks out to the stage, then poses as pyro comes down behind him, and the crowd cheers. AJ then walks down the ramp, and slides into the ring, before posing to both sides of the crowd.

Tenay: AJ Styles and Kurt Angle have had one of the most intense rivalries in the history of wrestling.

West: I know Mike, and tonight will be the huge ending, three falls in one match.

Gold Medal plays, and Kurt Angle comes up through the floor on a platform, before posing, while pyro goes off behind him. The crowd boos as Angle walks down the ramp, but he stops at ringside and waits.

Tenay: This whole situation began because Kurt Angle would not trust not only AJ, but also his wife Karen.

West: And I know it had to hurt for Kurt, thinking AJ and Karen had had an affair, but Mike, I don’t believe they did.

Tenay: DW, no one but Kurt believes they did.

Three Stages of Hell
AJ Styles vs Kurt Angle
First Fall: Hardcore Match

The referee calls for the bell, and Angle continues to stand on the outside. AJ stands in the ring and challenges Kurt to be a man. Kurt is staying put however. AJ continues to mouth off until it finally gets to Kurt, and he slides into the ring. AJ immediately charges at Kurt, and takes him down, before unleashing right hands onto the grounded Angle. Angle tries to fight back, but AJ just keeps hammering away. Both men roll around, and they then fall out of the ring and separate. Both men get up, and Kurt hits a big right hand on AJ. Angle hits a few more nig right hands, before Irish whipping AJ at the crowd barrier. AJ runs at it, but then jumps over it. Angle charges over at AJ, but AJ hits a big forearm right to the head of Angle that causes him to stagger back. AJ then jumps up onto the crowd barrier, and springboards off it, before taking Angle down with a flying forearm. The crowd goes nuts as AJ gets back to his feet, before picking Angle back up. AJ grabs Angle by the head, then slams him down headfirst into the apron, before grabbing Kurt’s arm, and sending him into the steel steps with an Irish whip. Angle hits the steps hard, then falls to the mat. AJ charges over and lands a kick right to the back of Angle, before picking him back up. Angle takes the advantage though, as he rakes the eyes of AJ. AJ struggles a bit around ringside, as he holds his face, giving his back to Angle. Angle grabs AJ by the leg, then applies the Ankle Lock on the outside. AJ quickly counters though, by rolling through and sending Angle forward. AJ gets back to his feet and quickly charges at Angle, only to be taken over by a belly to belly suplex from Angle on the hard floor.

Angle gets back to his feet and taunts AJ, causing the crowd to boo. Angle then lifts the cover of the ring up, and looks underneath it for some weapons. Angle puts his head under, then pulls out a kendo stick, as he smiles sadistically. AJ gets to his knees, and Angle just swings the kendo stick wildly, right into the back of AJ. AJ collapses back down to the mat, and Angle then swings the kendo stick into his back repeatedly, until it finally snaps in half. Angle throws the kendo stick away, then starts to stomp on the back of AJ. AJ struggles back up to his feet, and Angle then throws him back into the ring. Angle slides in after AJ, then hooks his leg, 1...2. AJ kicks out. Angle gets back to his feet, then kicks away at AJ when he tries to follow. AJ gets up, and Angle pushes him back into the corner, then unloads with hard right hands. The referee tells Angle to leave AJ, although he is powerless to stop him in this kind of match. Angle continues to hit AJ hard until AJ finally falls down into a seated position in the corner. That isn’t enough for Angle though, as he stomps away at the chest of AJ. Angle keeps going, until AJ falls flat on the mat. Angle quickly covers him, 1...2. AJ gets his shoulders up. Angle gets back to his feet, then lifts AJ back up, and applies a side headlock. AJ looks to fight out of the move, but Angle keeps it locked in. AJ then pushes back against the ropes, and pushes Angle off. Angle runs at the ropes, but then holds onto them, instead of bouncing off them. Angle then charges off at AJ unexpectedly, and goes for a clothesline, but AJ is able to duck it, then grab Angle in a waist lock.

AJ then takes Angle over with a German suplex. Angle hits the mat hard, and he slowly starts to get up, while AJ regroups. Angle crawls over to the ropes, then picks himself up with them. AJ sees this, then charges over and takes Angle over the top rope and out to the floor with a clothesline. Angle slowly starts to stir on the outside, and AJ jumps up onto the top rope, then crashes down onto Angle with a shooting star press, causing the crowd to go insane. AJ gets back to his feet and taunts Angle, while the crowd cheers. He then looks under the ring, and pulls out a garbage can. Angle gets back to his feet, and AJ smashes him over the head with the garbage can, sending Angle down to the mat, and leaving a huge indentation in the garbage can. AJ throws the garbage can down, then goes searching for another weapon. This time, he pulls out a steel chain. Angle starts to get to his feet, and AJ wraps the chain around his neck, then slides into the ring, then back out of the ring around the ringpost, tying Angle up. AJ keeps going around, until he finally stops in the ring and starts to pull on the chain, hanging Angle on the ringpost. Angle’s face starts to go red, as he can’t breathe. AJ keeps pulling back until he thinks that Angle is finally knocked out. AJ then drops the chain, and Angle falls down to the floor once again. AJ slides outside the ring, then covers Angle, 1...2.. Angle somehow kicks out, maybe just on instinct alone. AJ looks shocked as he gets back to his feet, before trying to unwrap the chain from Angle. AJ gets the chain off, then goes to grab Angle, but Angle swings the chain into AJ’s face.

AJ holds his face and turns his back. Angle then grabs him in a waist lock, and German suplexes him into the crowd barrier. Angle gets back to his feet and taunts the crowd, before turning to AJ, and teeing off with some right hands on the seated AJ. AJ falls from his seated position against the crowd barrier, and Angle then lifts him back up, before Irish whipping him into the crowd barrier. AJ hits the crowd barrier then leans forward in pain, holding his back. Angle then walks over, and receives a chop across the chest from AJ. Angle however comes right back with a European uppercut that sends AJ staggering back. Angle senses that he is getting the upper hand, and he starts teeing off with some big right hands that knock AJ up the entrance ramp. Angle continues hammering away, until he gets AJ right up to the stage area. He then kicks AJ in the mid-section, and goes for the Olympic Slam, but AJ counters and lands behind Angle. AJ turns Angle around, then starts off with a big right forearm to the head of Angle. AJ keeps going until Angle is wobbling right on the edge of the stage. AJ looks to the crowd, who respond by cheering. He then turns and swings for another big forearm, but Angle ducks it, then gets AJ up, sending him into the stage set for the entrances with an Olympic Slam. Angle quickly hooks the leg of AJ, 1...2.. AJ just kicks out. Angle gets up with a shocked look across his face, before taking his straps down. He then waits on AJ to get back to his feet. AJ gets up, and Angle attempts another Olympic Slam, only for AJ to land on his feet behind Angle this time.

AJ then grabs Angle by the back of the head, runs him over, then throws him off the stage down into the crowd barrier. The camera follows Angle, and his head smacks off the crowd barrier. AJ then runs down the entrance ramp and around to where Angle is. AJ rolls his foe over, then hooks his leg, 1...2.. Angle just manages to kick out. AJ gets back to his feet shocked, then picks up Angle, with blood flowing from his forehead. AJ hits a chop on Angle that staggers him back. AJ hits a few more chops until both men are out from beside the entrance ramp, and are at ringside. AJ then grabs Angle by the head, and throws him into the ringpost headfirst. Angle drapes over the ringpost, and AJ then pulls him away, and throws him into the ring. AJ looks set to follow, but then changes his mind to lift the ring cover, and looks for some weapons. AJ smiles as he pulls out a steel chair, then slides it into the ring. He then goes back under and pulls out a table, before setting it up behind him. He pulls out another table, then slides it into the ring. AJ gets up onto the apron, then starts to climb into the ring, when Angle runs across and kicks the ring rope up, sending it into the groin of AJ. AJ stays in the same position in pain, and Angle then climbs out to the apron, before pulling AJ’s leg back out. Angle then grabs AJ in a waist lock, and tries to German suplex AJ down through the table that AJ set up. AJ won’t let it happen though, as he holds onto the ring ropes. Angle lets go of the waist lock, then starts to hammer away at AJ with forearms to the back, before AJ stops that by kicking Kurt with a low blow. AJ climbs into the ring, while Kurt wobbles on the apron, staying up by holding onto the top rope.

AJ then runs at the opposite ropes, bounces off them, runs towards Angle, and dives over the top rope, grabbing Angle in the process and attempting a sunset flip powerbomb. Angle holds onto the ropes though, stopping AJ from taking him over. Angle then stomps on the face of AJ, forcing AJ to let go. Angle laughs as AJ holds his face, but AJ quickly recovers, and yanks Angle down by the leg, sending Angle into the ring apron headfirst, causing the blood to continue to pour from the head of Angle. AJ then slides back into the ring, and sets up the table near a corner. Angle slides into the ring a little groggily, then starts to struggle back to his feet. AJ sees this as he turns around, so he grabs the steel chair, then levels Angle over the head with it. AJ smiles as Angle looks out, then starts to pick him up, struggling, due to the dead weight of Angle. Finally AJ gets Angle up, and lays him across the table. AJ then looks to the fans, who cheer, before heading across to the corner. AJ starts to climb up the turnbuckle when Angle gets off the table, then runs up the corner for a top rope Olympic Slam, but AJ hits a forearm to the face of Angle, stopping him,. And causing him to be groggy on the ropes. AJ then positions Angle between his thighs and smiles, before lifting Angle up, and jumping down, sending Angle through the table with a Styles Clash. AJ rolls Angle over into the pin, 1...2...3.

Tenay: AJ gets up in the first fall, but now we have the Submission Match which should favour Kurt Angle.

West: It should Mike, but AJ is on top now, so that has to give him some confidence.

Tenay: In this fall, you can lose by either submission, disqualification, our count out.

Second Fall: Submission Match

AJ Styles gets back to his feet, and grabs Angle by the ankle, applying the Ankle Lock to the cheers of the crowd. Meanwhile, the referee pulls the table out of the ring. AJ keeps cranking on the ankle of Angle, and Angle looks like he just may tap out. Suddenly boos are heard from the crowd, as Frank Trigg is seen running down to ringside. He climbs up onto the apron, and starts mouthing off to AJ. AJ lets go of the hold on Angle, and walks over to Trigg. The two start mouthing off, when Trigg suddenly slaps AJ. AJ turns around and shakes his head, then suddenly pulls a Pele out of nowhere, which sends Trigg off the apron and through the table that AJ had set up earlier. AJ looks down at Trigg with a smile on his face, when suddenly Angle grabs him in a waist lock, and takes him over with a German suplex, keeping his hands clasped afterwards. Angle pulls AJ back up, then drills him with another German suplex, keeping his hands clasped yet again. Angle goes through the same process twice more, still keeping his hands clasped. He then picks AJ up again, and this time releases, flipping AJ over and causing him to land rib first. Angle holds his ribs in pain, and Angle measures him, waiting for him to get up. AJ gets to his feet, and Angle goes for the Olympic Slam, but AJ counters by taking his momentum backwards, and taking Angle over with an arm drag. Angle rushes back to his feet and charges at AJ, but AJ leapfrogs him. Angle then bounces off the ropes, and goes over AJ this time, as he has dropped down. Angle bounces off the ropes yet again, but AJ catches him with a huge dropkick this time, sending him down to the mat.

AJ gets back to his feet and taunts Angle, feeling the momentum he has got. Angle gets back to his feet, and AJ takes his arm and applies a wrist lock, before taking Angle over with a back suplex. AJ then picks Angle back up, still holding him by the arm, before taking him up into a back suplex position, before sending him down to the mat in a faceplant. AJ gets back to his feet, then measures Angle, waiting for him to get up. Angle gets to his feet, and AJ goes for the Olympic Slam, but Angle lands on his feet behind him. Angle then pushes AJ off to the ropes. AJ bounces off the ropes, then gets taken over with a belly to belly from Angle. Angle taunts he crowd, who boo him, then waits for AJ to return to his feet yet again. AJ gets up, and Angle executes the Olympic Slam. Angle then takes his straps down, while the crowd boo. Angle just laughs, then grabs AJ’s ankle, locking in the Ankle Lock. AJ cries out in pain, then rolls through, and grabs Angle’s leg, locking in an Ankle Lock of his own. Angle screams out in pain, but then rolls through himself, before grabbing AJ’s leg and applying his own Ankle Lock again. AJ yells out in pain, and rolls through, but Angle rolls with him, and keeps the pressure on. Angle gets up, still holding the ankle of AJ, while AJ tries to go to plan b by struggling to the ropes. AJ gets inches and inches closer, until he dives forward and grabs a hold of the bottom rope. Angle won’t let go of the hold though, as AJ tries to pull himself up with the ropes. AJ gets onto his free foot, then nails Angle with an enzuiguri.

Angle’s legs shake, as he looks like he will fall to the mat, when AJ positions him between his thighs, then taunts to the cheers of the crowd for the Styles Clash. Angle however counters with a back body drop though, before falling to his knees. Both men get up, and AJ charges at Angle, only to be caught with a knee to the mid-section. Angle then goes for the Olympic Slam, but AJ lands behind him yet again. Angle turns around and AJ goes for the Pele, but Angle is able to sidestep it, then lock in the Ankle Lock. AJ immediately tries to roll through, but Angle rolls with him, and keeps a hold of the ankle, before getting back up. AJ realises that is useless, and he slowly starts to make his way to the ropes again. AJ is inching closer and closer, until Angle drags him right back to the middle of the ring, keeping the hold applied. AJ tries to do anything with his hands that will stop him from tapping. Angle though smells blood, and he grapevines AJ’s leg, making it near impossible for AJ to go anywhere. AJ tries to pull himself to the ropes, but he can’t move the grounded weight of Angle. He continues to resist the temptation to tap out, choosing to still try to get to the ropes. He cannot move however, and he chooses to tap out.

Penzer: Here is your winner of the second fall, Kurt Angle.

Tenay: My God! AJ has stayed in that Ankle Lock for a long, long time! Will he even be able to stand for the Last Man Standing deciding fall.

West: I don’t know Mike. It will be near impossible though.

Third Fall: Hardcore Match

Angle wisely keeps the Ankle Lock applied, as AJ continues to tap out, despite it being unable to help him. Angle keeps cranking on the hold, as AJ screams in pain. Angle finally let’s go, hoping AJ won’t be able to get up. The referee then starts his count. 1...2...3...4...5...6...7...8. AJ has pulled himself to the corner, and has pulled himself to his feet. Angle sees him with a shocked look across his face. Angle then charges across the ring, and goes for a clothesline, but AJ dodges and Angle hits the turnbuckle. AJ then hobbles around the ring, before heading towards Angle and hitting a jumping forearm in the corner. AJ then hobbles towards the ropes and tries to springboard off them, but his ankle gives way, and he falls down to the mat hard. Angle regains himself, then lifts AJ up and drills him with the Olympic Slam. Angle gets up and tells the referee to count. 1...2...3...4...5...6...7...8...9. AJ gets back to his feet, hobbling on one foot yet again. Angle laughs and grabs AJ for the Olympic Slam again, but AJ goes over him and rolls him over into a sunset flip, before lifting him up, and landing the Styles Clash. AJ hobbles back to his feet and goes to the ropes to hold himself up while the referee starts to count on Angle. 1...2...3...4...5...6...7. Angle gets back to his feet. AJ sees this and he limps towards Angle, but Angle then hits a low dropkick to the good knee of AJ, causing him to fall to the mat. AJ crawls across to the ropes and picks himself up, only for Angle to charge across the ring, then send him over the top rope with a clothesline. AJ falls hard to the outside, and Angle then follows him.

Angle moves around to the announcer’s table, and yells at Mike Tenay and Don West to get out of the way, before knocking everything off the table. Angle then grabs AJ while he is getting up, and tries to send him off with an Irish whip, but AJ reverses and sends Angle flying into the front of the announcer’s table. AJ struggles over, then picks Angle up, and puts him on the announcer’s table. AJ then follows Angle up, and picks him up for the Styles Clash. AJ taunts, as the crowd cheer, when he is suddenly taken over with a back body drop, being sent through the table. Angle crawls across to the ring, then pulls up the cover and pulls out a steel chair, while the referee starts to count AJ out. 1...2...3...4...5...6...7...8...9. AJ gets up, and Angle runs across and goes for a chair shot to the head of AJ, but AJ ducks it, then limps across to the ring, before sliding into it. Angle runs towards the ring, and gets right up to it, when AJ hits a low dropkick through the second and bottom ropes that sends the chair into the face of Angle. It does a lot of damage to AJ too though, as he goes down and holds his ankle. The referee sees both men down, and he begins to count. 1...2...3...4...5...6...7...8. Angle and AJ both get up, and AJ looks set to jump out at Angle, when Angle grabs his leg and trips him up. Angle then pulls AJ out of the ring, and hits a big European uppercut. This staggers AJ, and Angle grabs him again, then hits an Olympic Slam on the outside. Angle gets to his feet angrily, then picks the steel chair up and slides it into the ring, before picking AJ up and putting him into the ring.

Angle slides in after AJ, and immediately grabs his ankle, locking the Ankle Lock in again. AJ fights up, getting on one leg, when Angle grapevines the other leg, causing AJ to fall back down. Angle continues to apply the pressure, while AJ cries out in pain. Angle keeps the hold on, until he is sure that AJ will be unable to get up. Angle then finally gets up and lets go of the hold. 1...2...3...4...5...6...7...8...9.. AJ somehow gets up again, hobbling on one leg. Angle grabs the steel chair, then smashes AJ over the head with it. Angle the raps the chair around the ankle of AJ, before standing in the middle ring, screaming at the crowd, while blood is spread across his face. Angle then climbs out to the apron, and up to the top rope, before jumping off and closing the chair on Angle’s already damaged ankle. AJ rolls around in pain, and the referee starts to count again. 1...2...3...4...5...6...7...8...9...10. The referee calls for the bell.

Penzer: Here is your winner, Kurt Angle.

AJ Styles continues to roll around the ring in pain, holding his ankle. Paramedics run out from backstage and slide into the ring, then take AJ’s boot off, checking on his ankle. Angle meanwhile stands over all of this, and holds his arms out, screaming, while the blood is still across his face.

Tenay: Kurt Angle will have snapped the angle of AJ Styles completely in half!

West: I know this was a heated match, but I fear that Kurt may have gone too far! I mean, will AJ’s ankle ever be the same? Will AJ ever be able to compete again?

Tenay: I don’t know DW, but look at Angle. He is remorseless! He couldn’t care less about what has gone down here tonight.

West: And that’s the sad thing Mike, that’s the sad thing.​

Management saw inmediately big business on them, and taking advantage of their Wrestlemania XX past, they battle each other on the first ever BTW Show, with a draw being the final result. However, that wouldn't be the last of them two, as during a Goldberg vs Edge bout for the BTW World Championship, Brock Lesnar would interfere costing Goldberg the chance to take out the belt away from the champion.​

Roles were reversed the next week, as it was Brock vs Edge for the championship and Goldberg interfered in the match. A challenge was then made: A Hardcore Match.​

However, the Hardcore Match would see yet again another draw, and the week after that, and angry and ready for competition Brock Lesnar laid down the challenge for this match at the biggest BTW PPV up to date, Rebellion. Goldberg accepted without thinking it, however, Paul Heyman, Brock's manager always was against the idea. Heyman would do everything to stop the match from happening, however, for all his efforts, two weeks before the PPV and in the 3hour Madison Square Garden Show, he got destroyed by Goldberg, that sent a clear message to Brock.​

As both parties failed to reach and agreement on what the stipulations for the falls would actually be, BTW GM Crushing C was left with the responsability to decide, and he selected a Singles Match, as there was no clear winner on their first ever BTW encounter, a Last Man Standing, to prove that you are the best man between the two, and an I Quit match, to prove that you are a man. “Here Comes the Pain” starts playing as Brock Lesnar comes out, alone, without Paul Heyman. He gets a mixed reaction all the way to the ring.​

“Goldberg’s March” breaks to the arena as we see Goldberg making his entrance walking from his locker room to the stage between a lot of cheers. He enters the ring and confronts Lesnar as the referee rings the bell​

1st Fall
Singles Match​

The fans in the arena get quickly into the encounter and starts cheering for Goldberg, while other half of the fans in attendance cheer for Brock Lesnar. Both competitors start circling each other, until they finally step toward the other and enter in a test of strength. Nobody gets the upperhand and they release each other. Goldberg and Brock Lesnar go back to circle the other one. Then they step toward each other again in attempt to enter a second test of strengths, but Brock Lesnar passes under Goldberg’s arm and hits Goldberg with a German Suplex. Goldberg gets quickly back up and immediately runs toward Brock Lesnar in retaliation, bur Lesnar attacks first and takes profit of the impulse from the run made by Bill and hits him with Belly-to-Belly. Lesnar this time makes the cover: 1…, Goldberg kicks out. Lesnar lifts Goldberg back up and hits a Manhattan Drop. Lesnar then bounces back to the ropes behind them and drives his elbow straight to the back of Goldberg’s neck, driving him straight to the ring ropes. The referee takes Brock apart and grounds him for the straight shot. Goldberg turns around to the direction where Brock Lesnar is standing and gets hit by a straight right blow to the face. Lesnar then wrestles Goldberg and hits two consecutive arm lariats followed by locking in a hammerlock. He stretches even more Goldberg’s arm, but Bill doesn’t take punish lightly and starts elbow smashing to the gut his way out. Lesnar finally releases it and when finally free of the hold Lesnar back body drops without impulse Brock Lesnar. Brock gets immediately back up and runs toward Goldberg, but gets floored by a clothesline. Brock gets back to his feet and once again gets knocked down by a clothesline. Brock Lesnar starts getting back to his feet, but this time he is doing it slower. Goldberg stares at him and then dashes to the ropes behind him, but when he enters in contact with the ropes. Lesnar sees Goldberg close to the ropes and he runs toward him throwing him to the outside of the ring with a clothesline over the top rope.

On the outside, Brock wastes no time and he picks his opponent back to his feet, then slams him spine first into the hard, slightly covered concrete floor. Lesnar picks Goldberg back to his feet and throws Goldberg back into the ring and makes the cover: 1…2…, Goldberg kicks out. Brock Lesnar cover him again even more Goldberg’s chest closer to the chest: 1…2…, Goldberg raises his elbow this time. Lesnar seems frustrated and knees Goldberg. He then dashes to the ropes and bounces back driving his knee straight to Goldberg’s face, knocking him down. Lesnar looks around the arena, getting fed by the cheers of his fans, and the boos of all the Goldberg fans here in the UK. Brock Lesnar reincorporates Bill Goldberg and once again puts him on his knees. Lesnar dashes, this time more confidently to the ropes and goes to drive his knee straight to Bill’s brain, but Goldberg snaps and reacts first planting Lesnar with a spinebuster. Goldberg gets up and feels the momentum and lifts Brock back up, and grabbing him by his throat first, he pulls him over his shoulders and hits a Military Press. Bill Goldberg explodes and goes to the corner, where he starts taunting for the Spear. Brock Lesnar finally pulls himself back to his feet and Bill Goldberg runs toward him planting him with a Spear, but the impact of the maneuver, combined with the desire of the punished Brock Lesnar, makes Brock to roll out of the way after suffering the spear. Goldberg seems angry and invites Brock Lesnar to return to the ring. Brock holds his head and recharges batteries on the outside of the ring. Lesnar takes his time on the outside as the referee starts counting him out: 1…2…3…4…5…6…, Brock tries to get back into the ring, climbing to the apron, but Goldberg approaches the ropes, making Brock Lesnar to climb back down to the apron. The referee inteferes and he takes Goldberg away, creating the space and giving Brock Lesnar the opportunity to return to the ring, which he quickly does so jumping from the floor to the apron and then to the inside.

Goldberg then shoves the referee away and he dashes toward his opponent looking to attack him, however Brock Lesnar reacts first getting his opponent up for the ride with a Modified Belly-to-Belly. Brock Lesnar lifts Goldberg back up to his feet and puts Goldberg over his shoulder in a Torture Wreck position, then falling into his knees connecting a backbreaker. Brock Lesnar makes the cover: 1…2…, Goldberg kicks out. Lesnar grabs his ribs in pain, feeling the aftermath of the spear previously connected by Goldberg, and frustrated announces the end. He waits Bill Goldberg to get back to his feet, and finally he pulls himself back up. Brock Lesnar steps toward him and lifts him over his shoulders and spins him looking for the F-5, but Goldberg slides out of the maneuver, Brock Lesnar turns around to where Goldberg is after missing the F-5, and gets planted by a sidekick straight to the jaw. Bill Goldberg gets back to his feet and walks, grabbing his ribs in pain, to the corner where, in the middle of a lot of boos, starts taunting for a second Spear. Lesnar slowly pulls himself back up using the ring ropes as leverage and turns around to the corner of pain, only to get planted by a powerful spear by Goldberg. Bill gets back to his feet and screams exploding firing himself up. He then passes his thumb across his throat announcing the Jackhammer, but when he is lifting Lesnar back to his feet, Brock Lesnar reacts and he pushes his own weight down below, ending standing back again on the canvas and he hits a suplex of his own. Brock Lesnar is now the one announcing the end as he taunts to the fans. He waits for Goldberg to get back to his feet. Bill Goldberg finally does so and he walks right into his opponent, over the shoulders of his rival, and Goldberg gets connected by a cheered F5 connected by Brock Lesnar. Lesnar makes the cover: 1…2…3.

Result: Brock Lesnar defeats Goldberg

2nd Fall
Last Man Standing Match​

Brock Lesnar gets back to his feet and immediately he starts yelling at Goldberg to get back to his feet. Lesnar lets his opponent recover for a while. Bill Goldberg finally gets back to his senses following the F-5. Both combatants stare at each other and they start circling each other relatively new. Brock Lesnar is heard screaming “brand new match”. Brock Lesnar and his opponent Bill Goldberg circle the ring looking for the advantage in this brutal match. They lock up as Goldberg over powers his opponent and pushes him back into the corner as he uses his pent up rage and goes wild hitting Lesnar with lefts and rights. However, Brock is finally able to block the offense of Goldberg as he stops one punch in mid air, flips around and he then throws Goldberg toward the corner, where he then is the one throwing left and right punches to the head of his rival. The referee tries to step in separating Brock Lesnar and Goldberg in the corner, however it is to no avail as Brock Lesnar just shoves him away and continues punishing him on the corner. Brock Lesnar starts driving his shoulder right into the middle section, shoulder thrust after shoulder thrust, taking the air out of the body of Goldberg. Lesnar finally steps away from Goldberg letting Bill take a breath on the corner. However, Brock Lesnar goes to continue his offense on the match, locking in a Bearhug. The crowd heavily boos, as Goldberg starts to appear passed out, with the weight of one match already on his back. However, thanks to the cheers from the fans, and a rush of adrenaline, he gets back to his senses and starts fighting for a way out. Goldberg drives repeatedly his elbow right to the head of his opponent, forcing Brock Lesnar to release him. Now two feet over the canvas, Goldberg throws a toe kick to the middle section making Lesnar bend in pain, and stagger a little away from him. Goldberg doesn’t let his opponent rest, as he grabs him and pulls him back in the center of the ring where he hits him with a knee to the gut several times, and then he hits Lesnar with a big double arm butterfly suplex! The crowd goes wild for there fan favorite, but instead of trying to win the match Bill mounts over him and fires away with some hard right hands to Lesnar’s face forcing ‘The Next Big Thing’ to cover up.

Goldberg feels the momentum going to his favor, however Brock Lesnar is able to counter as using his leg he throws his opponent away, hurling Goldberg between the bottom and second rope to the outside of the ring. Lesnar shakes off his head as he grabs the ropes lifting himself back up as he commands the ref to being the count 1….2…3…4…..5…Goldberg reaches his feet with the use of the guard rail. Lesnar slides out of the ring, and kicks his opponent in the stomach, and then lifts him up in a spine buster position and drives him back first into the ring apron! Brock then grabs him by the arm and brings him closer to him as he wraps his arms around his opponents body and tosses him like a doll over his head with a huge belly to belly suplex on the outside of the mat! Lesnar looks underneath the ring to try to find a weapon, and he pulls it out from underneath and it is a steal chair! He grabs Goldberg and tosses him back into the ring where he follows him in. ‘The Next Big Thing’ stalks his opponent waiting for him to get up, and when he does he hits him with the chair in the stomach, and then lifts him up into the air and hits him with a Powerbomb on the chair!!! Lesnar keeps the Powerbomb hold on, and lifts him back into the air and plants him with a second Powerbomb on the chair! He lets go as the ref begins to count, 1…2…3…4…5…6…7…8…9… NO. Goldberg gets up just in time before getting counted out. Brock doesn’t believe it as he grabs the ref by the scruff of his shirt, and tells him that it was a 10 count. While he is wasting time arguing with the ref it allows for Goldberg to get up and regain health. As Brock finishes arguing he turns around to a huge SPEAR from Goldberg!!!!!!!!! The crowd goes insane as both men are down treating there wounds as the ref starts a ten count trying to get either man to answer. Both men get up at around the same time, and then meet in the center where they trade punches back and forth. Goldberg looks to get the upper hand, but Lesnar rakes his eyes, and puts him onto his shoulders where he tries to hit the F-5, but Goldberg slides off, and picks up the chair from the ground and knocks Lesnar down with a huge chair shot! The ref begins another 10 count: 1…2…3…4…5…6…7…8…9…

Brock Lesnar gets to his feet! The crowd and Goldberg can’t believe it as he stares up in to the sky wondering what he has to do to win the match. He goes over to Lesnar who has a dazed look in his eyes, and grabs him by the throat and lifts him into the air with a press slam, and then tosses him over the top rope to the floor!! Goldberg follows him out of the ring where he takes off the covering of the announce table. He grabs the monitors and tosses them away as he sets up the table to put his opponent through it. Goldberg takes sometime doing this, and when he turns around to pick up Brock, Lesnar has the monitor in hand and smashes it over his opponents head busting him open making him bleed! Lesnar then grabs Goldberg onto his shoulders and finally connects with the F-5 through the announce table!!!!!!! Both men are out cold, but Lesnar begins to make his way up after about 15 seconds from hitting the move. The referee begins another count 1…..2…..3…..4…..5…..6…… 7………..8………..9……………………… NO Goldberg gets up from the move just in the nick of time! Lesnar can’t believe that he got up from that move as he drops to the mat and pounds his fist on the ground going berserk! Lesnar almost comes to blows with the ref, but he gets out of the ring, and tosses Goldberg back into the ring as he hits him with a couple of stomps. Lesnar the goes back to the outside of the ring where he looks under the apron, and pulls out a table! He slides it in the ring where he sets it up in the middle of the ring. Lesnar picks up Goldberg where he lifts him up onto the top rope. Goldberg at this point has a crimson mask of blood on his face. Lesnar climbs up onto the top rope with Goldberg, but when he gets to the top rope Goldberg hits him with a right hand. He then hits him in the head with a head butt trying to stop Lesnar from hitting a move, Bill Goldberg reaches the top rope where he lifts Brock up, and then he hits him with A JACKHAMMER OFF THE TOP ROPE THROUGH THE TABLE SET UP IN THE CENTER OF THE RING!!!!! The crowd goes insane as both me are laid out in a pool of Goldberg’s blood! The ref starts one more ten count trying to get them back up:

1…..2….3….4…5….6….7…., Goldberg gets back to his feet. The referee gets a little distracted by this however he continues after a few quick seconds the count, 8…9…, somehow, Brock Lesnar is able to get back to his feet!

Goldberg seems a little frustrated. He gets himself back together and walks toward his opponent. Goldberg methodically starts guiding Brock Lesnar back to his feet, guiding him up to his vertical standing. Goldberg then shows his ruthless side as he sets the head of Brock Lesnar below his arm, obviously going for yet one more Jackhammer. Goldberg looks exhausted, however he goes to continue end the contest as he lifts Brock Lesnar up in the air and then quickly, not able to keep the Next Big Thing up for a lot of time, flips him when landing effectively connecting the Jackhammer. Goldberg crawls away from the practically immobile carcass of Brock Lesnar as the referee, a little worried, starts the count: 1…..2….3….4….5….6…, Goldberg crawls toward a corner and there he uses the ropes as leverage to pull himself back to a standing position, 7….8….9…., Brock Lesnar does a one final effort to get up coming all the way to his knees, however he fells then miserably to the canvas completely knocked out. The referee ends the count and declares Goldberg the winner of the match.

Result: Goldberg defeats Brock Lesnar

Styles: And you know what that means, time for the third fall, an I Quit match between this two behemoths.

JBL: Will one of them say those words?

3rd Fall
"Be a Man"
I Quit Match​

Brock Lesnar grabs his lower back in pain. The referee directs, with microphone in hand, to Brock Lesnar and asks him if he quits. Brock Lesnar denies with a convincing no. Goldberg continues attacking Brock Lesnar and bouncing to the ropes, hits two consecutive elbow drops straight to the back of Lesnar. He then directs his eyes to the trash can itself. Goldberg this time waits for Brock Lesnar to return to his feet. Lesnar uses the ring ropes as leverage and pulls himself back to his feet. He continues giving his back to Goldberg, refusing to confront him, but Goldberg doesn’t care and dashes toward Brock, with trash can in hand, and connects him with it straight on the back. The strength of the hit sends Brock Lesnar over the top rope and into the outside.

Goldberg follows him. Lesnar lays against the announce table trying get back to a standing position. Goldberg grabs Brock Lesnar and tries to turn him around to attack him, but when he turns Brock around, Lesnar starts fighting back and hits a straight right hand. Goldberg answers back with right blow of his own. Brock continues the exchange and separating himself from the announce table, he connects a powerful punch straight to the head of his opponent. He then drives his knee straight to the gut of Goldberg and grabbing him by the back of his head he throws him toward the table. Brock Lesnar then throws Goldberg toward the ring post clashing with it head first. Brock Lesnar yells to the referee to ask Goldberg the important question. The referee approaches the floored competitor and asks him if he quits, but Goldberg quickly denies. Lesnar, infuriated walks toward his rival, and starts driving clubs toward the back of the slowly recovering Goldberg. Brock punches Goldberg, but then wastes a second grabbing his hurt lower back, time that Goldberg takes advantage connecting a straight right hand of his own. Instead, Brock Lesnar manages to answer back between the pain with a clothesline that knocks Goldberg down. Brock Lesnar rests for a few seconds holding his back before he continues his offense. He lifts Goldberg back to his feet and then viciously Irish Whips toward the ring steps on the opposite side. Goldberg clashes knees first with it and the impulse makes him do a spin over them. Brock Lesnar slowly walks toward where Goldberg is. He then starts removing the protector of the floor, trying to uncover the concrete floor under it.

Brock Lesnar successfully removes leaving unprotected the concrete floor. He slowly lifts Goldberg back to his feet and sets him in a suplex position. Brock Lesnar then, fighting with pain in his back, manages to nail Goldberg with a suplex on the uncovered concrete floor. He then indicates the referee to once again ask the his opponent if he quits. The referee approaches the microphone to Goldberg after asking but Goldberg, between a lot of hard breathing, refuses to quit. Brock Lesnar seems frustrated and he goes back to attack Goldberg, he stomps a few times before picking him back up. Brock Lesnar sets his rival for a second suplex on the discovered concrete floor. He tries to connect it but Goldberg blocks the attempt, and after it he counterattacks by back body dropping him instead to the concrete floor, aggravating even more the pain on the lower back of Lesnar. Goldberg drags and crawls himself toward the announcing table and forcing the time keeper to get up, he grabs a steel chair. He then fully incorporates and walks back to where Brock Lesnar is. Brock tries to get back to his feet but as soon as he reaches a vertical position, Goldberg nails him with a straight shot to the head. Brock Lesnar collapses back to the ground, and Goldberg infuriated begins smashing repeatedly and merciless the steel chair on the hurt back of Brock Lesnar, Brock screams in pain as he tries to protect his lower back, but the chair shots doesn’t stop. Goldberg finally cease the assault and lifts up the chair, to a big pop from the audience as the crowd see a completely bended steel chair. The referee immediately goes to ask Brock Lesnar if he quits, but he manages to exhale a no.

Goldberg seems mad and he picks his opponent back up. He delivers a series of clubs to the back of Brock Lesnar furthering the damage on it. He then strongly Irish Whips Brock Lesnar straight to the barricade separating the fans from the ring area. Brock Lesnar clashes with it spine first. Goldberg walks toward him taking his time to continue his offense, but Brock Lesnar out of instinct manages to hit connect him with a punch that has enough power to send Goldberg away. Lesnar then digs strength from within and dashes toward a quick camera man, and takes away the camera from him. He then waits for Goldberg to turn around. Goldberg finally turns around and Brock Lesnar blasts him with the camera right on the head. Goldberg gets knocked out cold. When he manages to incorporate it is clear to see that Goldberg has been busted open.

JBL: Oh yeah! Business is picking up!

Brock Lesnar slowly bends and begins searching something from under the ring. He finally gets out what he was looking for, a toolbox. Brock opens the toolbox and gets out a screwdriver as his weapon of choice. Lesnar then walks toward Goldberg and starts viciously incrusting the screwdriver on the open wound of Goldberg, causing it to pour out more blood. While doing it, Brock Lesnar tells the referee to ask Goldberg. The official approaches the microphone to ask Goldberg, but he, in between a lot of yells of pain says that he doesn’t quit. Lesnar seems frustrated and delivers one final blow with the screwdriver straight to the wound of the bleeding Goldberg. Brock Lesnar then starts smashing brutally the head of Goldberg to the steel steps. Brock Lesnar, holding his back, once again yells to the referee to ask him, but once again as well Goldberg refuses to quit. Lesnar, frustrated and angry as never before grabs him, picking him up. Brock drags him close to the barricade and then hits a Belly-to-Belly from the ring area to the fan area. Brock Lesnar jumps over the barricade as well and starts punching him. The fans around them go wild being able to touch them. Brock Lesnar grabs away a sign made by a fan out of hard card-board and smashes it against the bleeding face of Goldberg. He then throws him back to the ring are over the ring barricade.

Brock Lesnar grabs him and after delivering three consecutive straight right hands to the forehead of Goldberg, Lesnar sets the head of his opponent of the edge of the apron. Brock Lesnar then steps back taking impulse and finally runs toward him driving his elbow to the back of the head of Goldberg. He then asks the referee to once again ask Goldberg if he quits. The referee obeys and asks Goldberg, that is a now bloody pulp, if he quits, but one more time Goldberg refuses and the match continues. Brock Lesnar picks up the head of Goldberg, leaving behind a pool of blood on the apron. He then lifts Goldberg up and throws him back to the inside of the ring. The fans start chanting and cheering for Goldberg waiting for a comeback. Brock Lesnar continues grabbing his back in pain feeling the effects of the match. Brock soon follows him and rolls to the interior of the ring. He then starts taunting Goldberg and waiting for him to get back to his feet. Goldberg slowly get back to his feet and turns around. Lesnar wastes no time and hits him with the F-5. He then happily and confident tells the referee to ask the almost unconscious Goldberg if he quits, confident about the victory. The referee, practically ready to call Brock Lesnar the winner of the match, asks Goldberg if he quits, Lesnar already is celebrating, but to the surprise of the audience, the referee and Brock Lesnar himself, Goldberg says that he doesn’t quits.

Brock Lesnar’s expression on his face is of pure surprise. Then it changes to a one of pure evil. He lifts Goldberg back up and sets hum up for a second F-5, but once he is over Lesnar’s shoulders, Goldberg somehow manages to slide down of the shoulders of Lesnar. Now on the mat, he pushes Brock Lesnar away toward the ropes and when bounce back, Goldberg manages to hit a surprising Spear out of nowhere. Both wrestlers collapse to the canvas. The referee wastes no time and asks each competitor if he quits. He first ask Goldberg, that denies it, he then asks Brock Lesnar that answers with a negative response as well.

Goldberg pulls himself back to his feet using the ropes as leverage. Once he is back on a standing position, he goes toward Brock Lesnar. He pulls him back up and connects him with The Jackhammer, aggravating the pain on the back of Lesnar. The referee soon approaches the floored Brock and asks him if he quits. Brock Lesnar screams in pain holding his back but somehow he manages to not quit, continuing the match. Goldberg rolls out of the way and slowly makes his way to the steel steps. He wipes out some blood out of his face and then grabs the steel steps. Brock Lesnar is rolling in pain holding his back that is feeling the effects of all the punishment throughout the match. Goldberg enters the ring and mercilessly smashes the steel steps on the back of Brock Lesnar, that instantly yells in pain. The referee is about to ask Lesnar if he quits but Goldberg stops him, and passing a thumb across his throat, signals the end with a second Jackhammer, but he then viciously looks at the steel steps, signing that he will hit the Jackhammer on the steps. Brock Lesnar notices that as well. Goldberg grabs him and picks him up, then sets him in the Jackhammer position, but when he proposes to hit it, Brock Lesnar asks for the microphone with despair, and once having it close, he speaks:

Lesnar: No stop, stop Goldberg! I Quit, I Quit, I Quit!

The referee rings the bell.

Result: Goldberg defeats Brock Lesnar.


Goldberg has won but he keeps Brock Lesnar on the Jackhammer position, and even tough Brock Lesnar quitted to avoid more punishment on his back, Goldberg hits him with The Jackhammer on the steel steps anyway. Goldberg walks away with his music playing on the back as Brock Lesnar rolls in pain across the entire canvas holding his back, the referee calls from help from the back.

Well here's my vote...

Kurt Angle versus Aj Styles; BKB's match: I personally like the real life feud, and the fact that you incorpatated their last man standing match into the three stages of hell match instead is awesome. Your writting was very well detailed, and superb overall. Angle winning is pretty cool, having the heel come out on top. Some awesome spots in this match really. The ending wasn't all that, but it made it sound real. I mean it really selled the pain AJ suffered on his ankle. Overall this wasn't a perfect match, but it was great.

Brock Lesnar versus Bill Goldberg; CMS's match: You already have me won over with these two. You using BTW is kind of cool. The backstory isn't really amazing. I guess this is a summary of your past feud you said you had. The ending to the I Quit match was cool. I pictured it in my head, and it was a pretty awesome image. I couldn't find many bad things about it other than the common grammer mistakes we all have, and a few misspellings. Overall this was a near perfect match. I loved a lot of it.

The Verdict: Both matches were high caliber writting, from two great writters. I loved CMS's match, and enjoyed reading BKB's. CMS didn't deliver on the backstory, and I can't say BKB did considering he used a real life storyline. So it came down to the matches. With the first fall... BKB won it.. Then, BKB's submission match versus CMS's Last Man Standing. CMS won it then.. Then, the last round saw CMS winning it for me. I liked that match a tad bit more. So my vote goes to CMS. But BKB wrote a good match, and should be applauded for that. I believe the winner was us readers really.

BKB's Match- Kurt Angle vs. AJ Styles: I thought the backstory was nice and your writing was on-point and detailed. I didn't see many, if any, spelling or grammatical errors and I also liked the way you showcased your work (color usage and spacing). Every match became better and each one delivered with great spots throughout. I liked that Angle won but I didn't like the conclusion to the match. It seemed anti-climatic but at the same time it made sense.

CMS' Match- Brock Lesnar vs. Goldberg: To be honest, I've never been much of a fan of either of these two but you did a good job choosing to use them in a Three Stages of Hell Match. Like BKB's match, I thought your match was on-point and detailed. There were some grammatical errors that I noticed but not too many. Now this may be me just being a bit picky but I didn't like the way the match was showcased (color usage, spacing). I thought the conclusion was great with Lesnar calling for the mic and saying "I quit" before Goldberg could Jackhammer him only to have Goldberg Jackhammer him onto the steel steps anyway. That was amazing.

Conclusion: Both are great writers and both of you delivered your matches but I can only vote for one booker and I'm going to have to go with BKB. CMS did what he does best and had written a great match but BKB exceeded my expectations and quite honestly had me hooked into his match from the beginning. Anyway, nice work by both writers. Keep up the good work, guys.

BKB: Had a interesting backstory. I only say one thing wrong with your match. When you put Third Fall: Hardcore Match when it was a LMS lol. They matches got better and better as they progressed. I agree with Anigma that the ending was kinda anti-climatic but overall really great match. You really showed why your the Best Match Writer.

CMS: I am a huge Lesnar mark. I though this match flowed nicely. It was kinda easy to get lost while reading it during the first two matches (spacing wise) The I quit match was spaced nicely and the ending was really innovative and interesting.
