Bray Wyatt has passed away

Bray Wyatt...

Was one of the wrestlers who drew me back into the sport. I loved a lot of his work. I always wanted him to win, especially pre Fiend. One of the coolest characters and talkers.

I am struggling to deal. I'm 38. Bray was 2 years younger. That could have been me. Life is too short.

I am numb and just...feel dead inside. Nothing much seems to matter. This is awful.

I woke up this morning and just cried...I went back to imgur to find this image I made on August 8, 2013 to use a signature for a WWE forum that I was part of at the time. He debuted in NXT a year before and since then have always been a fan of his talent. Not many were watching NXT at the time seeing as how it wasn't easily accessible. I would post clips and tell everyone ''Bray Wyatt has got it''. It really pains me that not many know Bray's original backstory and character. That he was born in Louisiana, his mother died young and his father abused him. Not able to take anymore, Bray set his father's shrimping boat on fire while his father was on it. He then met Sister Abigail (either a nun or voodoo person, it was never explicitly said) who taught him everything.

Instead, they remember how unlucky he was with his booking. His hell in a cell and pitch black matches, the confusing storylines as WWE writers were just unable to keep up with his creative mind. He really could have been the next Undertaker if WWE hadn't made such poor choices with his booking. To this day I still reference the firefly funhouse theme song. "We're really glad that you're our friend, and this is a friendship that will never ever end". Brodie's death hit me really hard, but I'm having trouble even processing Bray Wyatt's death. They debuted 10 years ago and now 2/3 of them are gone.

Really sad news. Bray was an incredibly creative guy and one of the best actors I've ever seen in wrestling. I remember being truly amazed by his skills during the Firefly Funhouse era, some of the stuff he was doing was incredible and the way he'd shift personas on the fly. It felt like I was watching a TV Series with how good his acting was and how well crafted the story itself was. He's just one of those guys I was always interested to see what he'd do next or cook up in his characters, promos and segments. He really brought a lot of intrigue and excitement back to the product for me, he'll be sorely missed.

I heard the news at 9am when I had a full day of work ahead of me. Could barely focus on my work after that. At the time, I had no words. And now, nearly 15 hours later... I still got nothing.

This shit sucks.
