Can anyone imagine WWE letting one of their top stars' contracts expire? Especially right before a huge pay per view when the person is holding a major championship.

They did it with Jarrett in '99 while he had the IC belt, and he held them up for $300k so he'd drop the belt to Chyna the next day on PPV (No Mercy).

Hence the on screen burial by Vince when they bought out WCW.

This is why Bobby Roode, or anyone like him, will never go to WWE.

Daniel Bryan, Low Ki and Antonio Cessaro beg to differ on that, but that is just recent examples....WWE is evil and inept because the innernet sez so. Vince McMahon is a bad businessman who doesnt know wrestling.

Anyways, looks like Roode is back to being nothing but another thrown together teammate.......like last year, the year before that, and the year before that, and.....

Odd situation for Roode to be in, poor book keeping by Bruce Prichard to let one of their biggest stars and a current champion contract expire. Surely a company as big as TNA would keep at the very least a spreadsheet listing all the contracts as it would be an easy way to keep track of who's contract expires when. Would have been interesting if Roode decided to make a call to WWE just to see what the level of interest there would be from them. Worked out well for TNA though that he remained loyal and signed on again, would be good to find out contract length.

This story is bullshit, prbz gonna be a storyline where Pritchard is going to play Russo. Take all the blame for fuck ups and take care of the A&E.....Meltzer stated this guy was locked down until 2014.
