Frankie Edgar defeated BJ Penn at 4:16 by TKO in the 3rd round in the main event of The Ultimate Fighter Finale on Fox Sports 1. Penn said that he shouldn’t have came back. Edgar pretty much dominated the fight

This was inevitable, as he hasn't looked good since 2010. Was the anchor of the midget division. Whose mouth and arrogance overshadowed his talents imo.

I just hope Bellator dont offer him a ton of money to reverse his retirement again, would hate to see him go on like a Roy Jones Jr and just sully his legacy.

I felt bad for him but I think after what Frankie did to him he knows it's over. He had a hell of a run, wouldn't mind seeing him do som announcing but just never step into the cage again.

Listening to him at the post fight presser he was actually speaking like a guy who knew his time was up.

Fox is going to be looking for a UFC Analyst or w/e you wanna call it now Chael has been given the boot, a dual weight champion sure would give credibility to them if that's what he's interested in.

He really looked absolutely terribly in his fight. It was time for him to go.

He hasn't looked good since the 2nd Frankie fight, beating Matt Hughes wasn't anything and he has been in lopsided beatdowns from Nick Diaz, Rory McDonald and now even Frankie.

Yeah pretty much. He never really looked too bad even in a loss up until that second Edgar fight where he pretty much was just a punching bag. Nick Diaz just ripped him to shreds and he looked completely tore apart. Rory pretty much schooled him and made him look like an old retired fighter that shouldn't even be there. Then the last fight... it was like he forgot he was in an MMA fight.
