Bischoff Takes Shot at UFC's Low Rating, Talks TNA's Audience

After UFC drew 950,000 viewers last Friday night, which is the lowest TV number the MMA promotion has drawn in 7 years, TNA's Eric Bischoff posted the following on Facebook:

"Think we came close to hitting these numbers with a couple episodes of ReAction at 11pm on Spike," Bischoff said of the Ultimate Fighter rating. "Tons of promotion on Fox and FX, a budget 3x bigger than Impact and 500,000 less viewers? Impact has a larger audience than ever, and is going to have a great season with new elements following Lockdown. Can't wait!"

Lmao. Viewers isn't that big of a deal and I doubt UFC really cares when you look at their buyrate. TNA only get a 1.0 rating so it's nothing to brag about especially to a company like UFC.

Hey Bischoff, how about you take a look at UFC's PPV buyrates, and then compare them to TNA's? Too lazy? I'll do it for you..

UFC 140 - 485,000
UFC 141 - 800,000
UFC 142 - 235,000
UFC 143 - 400,000
UFC 144 - 375,000

Turning Point '11 - 9,000
Final Resolution '11 - 8,000
Genesis '12 - 10-12,000
Against All Odds '12 - Roughly 7,000
Victory Road '12 - 7,000

Enough said.

Of all the things to brag about when it comes to TNA don't think ratings should be one of them. Not a shock though for him to take shots considering UFC left Spike.

That comparison list of PPV buys is brutal and that says it all about how stupid this arguement is from Bischoff.

Plus UFC is by far the number one MMA company out there, TNA is a distant second when it comes to wrestling companies so he shouldn't brag that much about beating a completely different show. If Impact outrated Smackdown then Bischoff would be right to brag but not this time.

He's just trying to gain publicity and turn around the bad comments about impacts ratings so I cant really blame him

Impact's rating dropped below 1.0 this week for a go home show to a PPV. What was Bischoff saying about TNA drawing their largest audiences ever?

I lol'd.

Bischoff has absolutely no room to talk. For the most part, their product is shit, and boring. They have maybe 5 people who people would tune in to see. UFC has.... Well everybody to watch... Shutup Eric.
