Big name set to return

PWInsider.com has confirmed that The Undertaker is set to return to WWE TV at the 2/24 Raw taping in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The return was locked in within the last 48 hours.

That is the day after The Elimination Chamber and will be the Raw that leads directly into the launch of the WWE Network's live programming. The appearance will kick off Undertaker's storyline for Wrestlemania 30.

Undertaker has not been seen on WWE TV since the 4/23 Smackdown taping, where he was nailed with a Triple powerbomb through a table by The Shield.

Predicted he'd show up here.

Figured he would be on Raw that night. Makes sense. Network Launch, and he usually returns sometime in February to set up his Mania match.

Now if only we could get Sting...

Sting would get no pop. They need vignettes or else he will come out to dead air like Jake. Sting also has to be in shape. I wouldn't be shocked to see them debut him without videos at mania or the raw after, but I doubt it on launch day

Figured Taker would be there along with Flair, Hulk, RVD, Nash, Jericho, Brock, Batista, Cena, Orton, Vince, and pretty much anyone they can get

I can't wait for his return. Undertaker has been the main selling point for WrestleMania for the last 4-5 years and it's always great to have him involved even if it's just the odd appearance here and there. I still don't see how there will be enough time to create a decent program with Brock Lesnar however, he managed last year with CM Punk but I think that was mainly due to Paul Bearer passing and WWE seeing the opportunity to make things more 'personal'. Regardless of how the storyline turns out Undertaker always has out of this world matches.

They could always made it Undertaker vs Sting and Sting doesn't debut till Mania but they hype him up each week with packages and stuff; it's weird and wonderful in my mind but just plug the shit out of him for the whole month of the network going live, numerous vignettes etc etc.

Do it enough and Taker/Sting with it being Sting's debut would bring the house down, maybe, surely?

Kinda' like 'Taker/Kane at 'Mania XX only with Sting being the one off screen until 'Mania? That could work. Could have it obvious that it's Sting, but not specifically say it so the announcers could still plug the "Who's Undertaker's opponent?" schick.

I would have Sting casting a shadow on the last image of Smackdown before Mania. Crowd would go nuts, and the hype wouldn't die out before the match took place.

Yeah that's a good way to do it as well. Keeps sting off screen and in a gym with no excuses, and it openly promotes him and gets people used to his work and theme

Have the lights go out, Taker does his long ass enterance, gets on the mic then lights go out again before he speaks.

Lights return and Taker is laid out with just a baseball bat next to his limp body.

VINTAGE Sting!!!!!
