“WWE has come to terms on the release of William Morrissey (Big Cass).”

Big Cass released

Prob a result of him not listening when it came to his DB feud. Thoughts?

No "best of luck in your future endeavors"? Must not have been a good release.

Well that came out of nowhere. On the bright side the Money in the Bank ending makes more sense

I mean, as much as I'd love to see him do more, I'm not terribly upset. Shame they pushed him too hard and too fast on return, but oh well. Hopefully, he finds work elsewhere to improve, or if he doesn't wrestle, finds another profession he likes.

It's wrestling; everything in wrestling is temporary in some capacity or regard. This is somewhat shocking but not completely. Maybe he failed a drug test or something but honestly it's the WWE so it's not really a confused camel looking for a pond of soda instead of looking for water. In all seriousness hope he finds his ground after all he's been through; Good Luck Big Fella. Curious though about why this happened today?

His whole gimmick is based on being tall. Being tall has proven to mean fuck all. So his entire presence in WWE is unnecessary.

Losing to a 5 foot 8 man, you are never going to be a main eventer.

I thought he could still be salvageable if returned to NXT for more development, but I guess the company figured it was better off without him. Do they have any physically big guys in NXT already? Perhaps there's a prospect down there with a brighter future than an improved Colin Cassidy.
