I think the appeal of Ghostface is more the pop culture references, the gimmick of him ringing the victim. Its a nice twist on the calls coming from in the house. Also the guy doing the voice is great. For me Scream appeals more for the other main characters. But I still enjoy a bit of Ghostface.
