Two of my favorite Villians of all Time in Animation a really tough pick. The moment Cell showed up he meant business and I always have trouble which Arc I love more the Cell Arc or Majin Buu Arc.

I can't blame you. So many great moments during that Arc as well including the Introduction of Super Saiyan. It still doesn't sit well with me at times in Super people are getting forms left and right and back then it mattered and it didn't come easy to achieve those goals.

This is correct imo, frieza comes back too
Cell is only the baddie for 1 arc then its on to the buu saga. Frieza is the most significant villain n directly responsible for unlocking the super sayain tranaformation. No frieza no gold hair

I do like Cell but Shredder is probably one of my favorite villains of all time.

I raise you this. No Cell, they probably don’t find out you can go beyond a simple Super Sayain maybe they do with how hard they would’ve likely trained anyway, but who knows. It’s because of Cell that Gohan unlocks SS 2, which let them know that you can keep going further beyond.

Shredder has never had a successful plan and takes nothing but L's.

Cell on the otherhand has killed main characters.....even if those stupid dragon balls make death meaningless in that show.

also you can trace back both Vegeta and Goku's entire life arcs directly to Frieza's action of wiping out Planet Vegeta

Yeah and I could say the same thing for Frieza he never trained either till Super and he reached Golden...and Black Frieza because of it.
