Q: With Batista returning, how does this change the landscape of WM? Also, do you see him in the title mix anytime soon?

A: The early word is that he would win the Rumble and work against Randy Orton at Mania. I think that is a huge mistake because it shows, once again, that WWE needs to bring in older guys from the past for big Mania Title matches. The clear message is "we don't have the guys on the roster to put in that match". I say book the talent that they have better so they can put their full time guys in the big matches.

Didn't I call it? I believe I called it. Batista to win the Rumble and feud with Orton til WM. Of course that's early, as Dave indicates, but if its true, I must don my psychic hat and declare myself The Amazing Thor, Mind of the Stars XD

I really just can't see him winning the Rumble at all.

That, my friend, is BS. Batista may have won rumbles before, but who cares? Whoever is returning will probably do it. If not, methinks that would be 'bad for business'.

It's easy to doubt, but it could happen. However the accusation that they lack the talent is a little harsh. It's more like they want the 30th anniversary of Mania to be far and beyond more star studded than all of the prior installments, which is understandable. They could do Undertaker vs Cena, Orton vs Punk, Wyatts vs Shield, Triple H vs Brock, Bryan vs Bray, Big E vs Henry, Ziggler vs anyone... or any other number of variants of matches involving the listed stars and still have a Mania just as good as any other. But the fact is they don't want a Mania just as good as any other, they want the most star studded spectacle they can build, and if that's hard to understand then you must not realize what sports entertainment is.

Amen Brother. And speaking of Brother I would not be shocked if they found a way for Hogan, Goldberg, Flair, and others to be involved. I still want Austin vs Punk for this.

Really don't think him being a "pussy" is the correct term.

Maybe him being "safe" because, ya know, with his neck and knee problems and all but whatevs....

Yeah I agree, I mean if he could paralyze himself if he injures his neck another time. Let see you get in the ring Sabs.

Austin quote "I feel great. I could work a full schedule for two years if I had to"

He could, but that doesn't mean he will, unless this is something that Vince and Steve are talking about in the dark. Wouldnt surprise me.
