The one after was also revealed, code red working title, set in Japan, but, it won’t be out until 2024 or later. I’m actually more excited for that one.

Japanese AC feels kind of pointless after Ghost of Tsushima.

But I am intrigued by this one, since we're playing as the villain from Valhalla.

They just did a middle eastern one few years ago, I think you could go Japanese which would be cool or you go into the future

I see why you'd think that, but I personally disagree. I think they are different enough games, GOT felt nothing like an AC game so this will be a totally different experience, and I think Ubisoft are some of the best when it comes to making detailed open worlds (even if they can be too large at times )

It borrowed a lot from the franchise though. Hiding above your enemies or in bushes, stealth skills, parkour, clearing camps...

I guess so, I never got AC vibes myself playing it though

Yeah I'm not saying it's a clone because it has its own identity when it comes to the story and the open world, and the katana fights are unique, but the stealth gameplay really feels like AC to me. Which is not a bad thing as it's pretty good.
