After IWF Inception the APW held its New Years Retribution PPV, some of the IWF's stars took part in the IWF Survive and Conquer match, Hutt Anderson was IWF's longest lasting superstar entering at number 9 and being eliminated when superstart 26 entrered. Rumours are going around that some kind of award may be install for Hutt Anderson who was also crowned IWF tag Champion at Inception.
After losing out to Nic Stone in controversal fashion at IWF Inception, Freeman took on biggs at the APW PPV, Freeman and Biggs thought in a close contest both hitting their finishing moves at times in the match, however Freeman's night was made worse when Biggs pinned him suffering 2 defeats in two nights.
