As for what I watch now, well Tony Khan brought me back after a 2 decade hiatus. In the 90's/00's I was big on WCW and ECW. When they folded I tried to get into WWF/E but the product at the time just wasn't for me.

Skip forward and Dynamite and Rampage are on my weekly watch list, I keep up with the happenings on Dark and Elevation, and I try to watch any show where any AEW people cross through the forbidden door (Impact & NJPW right now)

Current favorite wrestler? Brian Cage has my attention after last nights Dynamite. Some of the moves he pulls out you just do not expect from a guy that big. He has the look, he has the in ring ability...he's 90% of the way to becoming a true superstar imo.

BUT... I have to give it to Danhausen. I've only seen what he can do on YouTube but he's just SO DAMN LIKEABLE!

Favorite of all time? Super Crazy. Every single time I saw him step into the ring I was entertained. He was consistent. And I can go back and watch his stuff from the ECW days and be just as enthralled now as I was 20 years ago. Hugely under-rated talent.

And since I appear to be breaking kayfabe it's nice to meet you all. Oh and despite the name, I'm not actually from North Korea. Sorry to disappoint.

Well first we have to go all the way back to March 26 2001 when a much younger me was watching what would be (unknown to me) the last episode of Nitro ever. Shane did his thing. Vince did his thing. We all know the story. This was pre-internet for me so I didn't know what just happened. I remember asking my Dad (who has no interest in wrestling at all) what just happened. He didn't know either. I remember checking the next weeks tv guide. Nothing. So the next thing I know I'm watching Raw and all my favorite wrestlers were there...and they were all losing to the WWE stars.... :(

Eventually I got tired of the s***y booking and the general atmosphere of the WWE product and left wrestling forever.

Or so it would seem....

Skip forward to the start of 2019. I'm in Florida. And in the local news I spot an article about a new wrestling promotion starting up. And Christ Jericho is involved. And the son of the son of a plumber is involved. And there's a press conference happening up the street in Jacksonville. So naturally I'm a little curious to what's happening.

Skip Forward again to Double Or Nothing 2019. And I'm seeing Tommy Dreamer in the ring. Taking these BRUTAL kicks from the character from the movie Drive. And then his getting his head rammed into the a$$ of the most flamboyant looking wrestler I think I've ever seen... and I am entertained. I haven't been this entertained since I was watching Nitro every week...

Then I see Cody and Dustin go at it. And that was it. That was the moment where I was sold on AEW. And since then I've been hooked.

and congratulations for making it to the end. :)
