Let's imagine others versions of the famed flicks we've seen and loved throughout history. As unlikely as they'd have been, given new and better ideas, I thought we could explore what would've happened had the developers created different formulas for the films.

How about Terminator 2: Judgement Day, for example...

What would have happened if Arnie had come back once again as another bad T-800 model, to kill John Connor as a child, instead of to protect him, no T-1000 involved? How would such a story have played out?

Hmmm... I like this topic.

As for how another bad T-800 model would have tried to kill Connor, I don't feel there would have been another movie after T-2 with that plot. Idk, maybe there would have been. But I doubt it.

Okay, let´s begin with the encounter at the shopping mall and see what we can come up with...

Terminator is walking around with his Custom Winchester 1887 in his gift box. He isn´t going to bump into John Connor in the service corridor because the T-1000 isn´t going to track John down in the arcade and make him run away. This means Terminator is going to spent more time looking for John and will inevitably encounter him elsewhere.

Having said this, how would Terminator have found John and, having been sent to kill him, what would have happened in this scenario?

Hmmm...that's a good one. I'll have think about that and get back to you.

It would have been an incredibly stale retread of the first
film lacking the grimy vibe & feelings of the original.

I just want to state that the original Terminator is my
favorite & T2 is WAY overrated.

Also...they should have stopped after 2 films as every
Terminator film since 1991 has been awful...even if there
were some cool ideas in Salvation.

Same with the Alien franchise...they should have stopped
at 2.

In what ways would you say T2 was overrated?

I just feel people let their nostalgia blind them to the fact
that it turns the T-800 into a sidekick for an annoying kid.

I think overall its just an overrated film...its too clean &
perfect in places...unlike the original which was dirty, grimy
& overall just had a darker tone.

And yes...I share the same opinion of Alien & Aliens.

James Cameron taking a franchise about killer aliens
or machines & shoving in his overt themes of family.

NEW IDEA! The original 1989 Batman movie Joker was the one who killed Bruce's father. What are other scenarios that could have played out with that?

Well...they could have re-written it so it wasn't the Joker.

I'm sorry but I believe Batman 1989 is one of the most
overrated films in the last 30 years.

I just don't get the appeal of it at all.

I liked Batman Returns though...

Who would the killer be? Alfred?! That would be the ultimate twist.
