On the 15th of August Royal Road Tournament returns. This will be the biggest Royal Road since the tournament started with 32 men in the running to win. A mixture of heavyweights, junior heavyweights and even rookies make up the brackets.
Unlike most All Japan tournaments Royal Road is single elimination. So once a wrestler has lost, they are out of the competition.
The first round will be held on one day but spilt into two shows. An afternoon show and a night show.

Notes
Ayato Yoshida returns to All Japan for the first time since January. He was a member of the faction JIN until Jake betrayed Koji and ended the faction.
With SUGI’s win on the last day of summer action series his match against Jake Lee will now be an all champion match up. Heavyweight champion vs junior heavyweight champion.
Shuji Ishikawa and Black Menso-Re make their returns to the ring after testing positive for covid last month and missing the entire summer action tour.
The identity of Purple Haze member Devil Murasaki is still a mystery.
Abdulla Kobayashi returns for the first time after challenging Nextream for the world tag team titles earlier in the year in February.
The last person to win Royal Road was Jake Lee. He went on to face Kento Miyahara for the Triple Crown.
