Not gonna lie, I prefer this poster to the ones with the gears over half of everyones faces....

Anyway as for Full Gear 2021, it's probably worth it just for the main event.

Inner Circle vs Men Of The Year will probably be fine. Personally 10 man tags are a bit too much for me but whatever, I trust in Tony Khan...

Britt Baker vs Tay Conti will be fine. For some reason I see Britt retaining still...

As for the Eliminator Tournament final, I'm 99% sure it's gonna be Danielson Vs Mox. In which case that match will be fire.

OR

Mox vs Eddie. Which would also be great.

I'm expecting Luchas vs FTR which will be great.

Also I NEED them to do something with Miro....maybe he will wrestle with god himself

also a Malakai Black appearance would be very welcomed.

Ugh. The card doesn't need a Cody match. He's not the top tier star he seems to think he is.

So Cody has participated in 80% of AEW PPVS. And the two he missed were due to other commitments. In other words if Cody is available for a PPV he's gonna be there!

Which sucks because that means he will have a match at Full Gear. I'm not saying he can't put on a decent match because he can, but give some PPV time to some other talent! Damn.

All I'm seeing is that he hasn't had a lengthy, top of the card style PPV match since all the way back at Revolution 2020. Doesn't seem like he's taking much away from anyone.

And you're kidding yourself if you don't think he's one of the biggest stars in AEW in terms of his mainstream appeal.

Yah I respectfully disagree Pain. First off I like Cody most of the time (the Factory feud aside). He's a pretty big part of AEW for me, even if there's like a bunch of guys I prefer. I mean hell, I though his match on Saturday was aces too. His runs as TNT champ helped make that title look good and he put Darby over fucking huge and was one of the booking reasons Darby is a made man now. He's also a damn good worker and I enjoy his matches, he bumps like a mofo and bleeds liek a rhode. I get he's not everyone's cup of tea but he's generally elevated his opponents as well (brody, darby). Ill admit as I said earlier the factory feud was really poor and didnt get anyone really over but these things happen sometimes and Im not particularly miffed. heck, he kind of helped QT get a lot of heat, too.

Like I say the guy can wrestle. He's good on the mic. I just don't feel like he needs to be on every single PPV card. It's obviously just a personal thing since it's just me who feels this way. But yeah, as a fan I'm not invested in Cody matches (Cody vs Dustin aside)

Again, maybe it's just me that feels this way but I don't feel like his character grows or evolves over time. Cody 2021 is the same as 2020 and 2019 in my eyes....

Ok that's enough ranting on Cody. Whatever happens I'm sure as heck Full Gear is gonna be great!
