I think he was penciled in for a run at some point but like Chris was saying I think the end of the MJF run was supposed to be Adam Cole but then he got hurt.

My only counter to that is - how would they have gotten to a third match and also do a surprise reveal?

Like a mystery devil opponent at worlds end who wins and THEN takes off the mask?

I think Switch will be world champion 2 to 3 champions from now im just not sure if it will be 2024 or early 2025 in my head cannon

I think you could go two ways. The first one you mentioned. This was actually what they did with the black scorpion storyline in WCW except this reveal was much better than it being Ric Flair.

The other is you just booked toward them eventually agreeing to have another friendly title match and you set up some kind of stipulation that would keep the devil out or whatever and you kind of rip off the Bully Ray president of the Aces and 8s storyline where like maybe Adam Cole had some kind of weapon stash inside the ring or something and they do the reveal that way. You could even have the kingdom trying to climb like a cage or something and have both Cole and MJF clear them together, etc..

I definitely think, though the moment they started becoming friends instead of strictly opponents, they were always building up the Adam Cole ending the reign.

Not sure how I feel about osprey having the belt before switchblade, but I do feel those two would have a banger of a title match. So I could be convinced.

I’m conflicted on the second line because I do feel hangman would break up three straight heel champions and also he deserves another run. It would probably be the perfect guy to put swerve over, but I don’t want that many names before switchblade he gets it.

I actually think this one might be the one. Swerve has had Hangman every time now, right? So maybe we switch it up and let Swerve have it first and Hangman can overcome the odds to get his second redemption by finally beating his nemesis. And you know, Hangman and switch would make for a great program, and I think hangman would be the perfect baby face for switch to take the belt off and then you could do the osprey match, which would be an absolute banger.

Jay White vs Will Ospreay is a match that would be amazing to do at All In. But with the timeline and wanting it to be for the title, maybe next years All In, unless you have a lot of short reigns. because this year is only like 7 months away. But yeah, feels like a good match for All In.
