You know, I am thankful for AEW airing the footage for one reason; the one thing I was most disappointed in punk when all the reports came out last year was I legitimately thought he tried to hurt Tony and I thought that wasn’t cool because Tony was like the nicest guy and he was the one who brought him in and all that, so now that I know that that wasn’t the case, I still think firing him was fine, I can move forward liking both parties and I don’t have to feel any kind of weirdness about it; I can just move on.

So basically that video was just confirming the way Punk described the incident last week.....and by the looks of it, Tony Khan realized in real time what a self own this was and unleashing "Don Stevens" on anyone posting it.

He’s been taking jokes about that incident since he’s been back. Drew McIntyre has used it on promos against him. I think there was a couple NXT guys that even made a joke or maybe it was Theory about video footage of them attacking people at SmackDown.

Thankfully, the boys can all just have a good chuckle and then it’ll all just simmer back down. Like I even said before I think even Hunter will giggle at the shots taken at him from Will he’s gonna get where that’s coming from.
