I mean, he doesn’t claim that he didn’t throw a punch he said that nobody was punched. It’s very specific choice of words. And from my perspective, it looks more like he lunged in his direction to almost pie face or push him, either way, he didn’t actually connect with it so he didn’t actually punch him.
Six months later, you’re probably not gonna remember like every little like swing that you make, but the important thing is that he was specifically talking about like what actually took place, and the only two things that physically took place was a push, and a choke and punk doesn’t deny either of those things. I just don’t think it makes any sense to make a mountain out of a swing that didn’t connect and it doesn’t even look like a full punch from my vantage point like I said it looked more like he was just lunging to push him again or I think he was, I think he might’ve been trying to do was like push him down by his face like a pie face, but either way. But he definitely doesn’t lunge at Tony like a lot of people were claiming either.
And to be clear punk still looks like an idiot in this exchange, but I also kind of wish we could actually hear the audio, but it is what it is.
