Admin: Racial sluurs... A little clarrity please

I like a sick/dodgy joke as much as the next man, but such a large proportion of the wise-cracks, jokes etc. in 'the section formerly known as HIAT' are routed in racism....

Sorry to dig up an old issue, but I have a permanent infraction for racial slurrs; which i find particularly degrading bearing in mind it was born of comments I made when taking a RACIST to task over the 'disease' they have...

By all means, infract me if necessary (however reluctantly, I have already accepted my 'punnishment'), but please explain to me how half the forum haven't been perma-banned?

I think you probably should have posted this in site feedback as technically here people can spam and argue and what not. I think you want a serious response so this is not really the section for getting that.

The issue was that it was in the news rumours and spoilers section. In here you can say whatever you like, you snaggle-toothed, tea-sucking limey

Also, it wasn't persecution or anything like that. There were others in that thread who were given infractions for the very same thing. Sometimes, even if we don't want to give an infraction because they are good members, we have to in order to keep things fair.

Sucks, I know. But keep in mind the fact that you are a good member and if anything does happen in the future we will take a look at that as well as opposed to just plain old mocking the other assholes who get banned.

I got no beef about my treatment (I think may have been you I discussed it with via PM when it all wet down) and don't get me wrong, I'm not angling to allow myself the freedom to post racist comments in the future....

Just kinda blows me away - I can't think of anywhere I'd possibly come accross many of the comments that I've read today without visiting some kinda KKK/BNP/[insert favourite racist mob here] website.

I guess individuals need to check themselves and that I should avoid HIAT.
