At last night's Pro Wrestling Guerrilla show, entitled ironically "Black Cole Sun", Adam Cole announced that he injured his shoulder in the match with Jay Briscoe from this past Sunday and he needs surgery. Cole stated that he would be missing Ring of Honor's next pay-per-view on March 1 and some dates for New Japan Pro Wrestling. Cole would later Tweet the following:

"I'll be back better than ever. I can promise you that. #AdamColeBayBay"
