Actors you struggle to see in other roles

Interesting thread (I hope) do your stuff and indulge me.

I'll start us off:

Ever since American Pie I haven't been able to stop calling Seann William Scott Stifler in every role. To the point where I even feel bad for the guy. Like I was watching him play a serial killer and I STILL was thinking of fucking Steve Stifler. He's at the top of my list. He's actually a very underrated actor but I really just struggle to see him in any other role and I guess it is a credit to how good he was. It was really a memorable character, and a large part of my life growing up as I loved the movies.

So yeah, sorry Steve...I mean, Seann.

Last two is probably Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul. Especially the latter, I literally say 'It's Jesse' when he's in a role. Like it's bad. I knew of Cranston as Hal in Malcolm in the Middle before I caught on to Breaking Bad and I still just see the guy as Walt now. Both tremendous actors, but I probably will be thinking of that show whenever I see them in anything still. Not a knock on them, I just think it's probably gonna be their best work for a long time. Especially Aaron I would say. He doesn't pick the best roles. Cranston has been in some great movies since then.

Most all wrestlers really lol batista and the Rock would be the two exceptions but it even took awhile for Rock. Dave is great tho, I can separate all the characters I've seen him play.

As far as regular actors, first one that comes to mind is Keanu Reeves as Neo...well now I kinda see him as a mixture of Neo/John Wick tbf lol

Keanu-Bill from Bill and Ted. I have no issues with him as I see him as several people. From Point Break. The Replacements, Matrix, John Wick I have no issue seeing different characters he has played.

Brandon Frasier though all I can think of is the Mummy Movies.

Val Kilmer- Doc Holliday from Tombstone and Iceman from Top Gun.

Since you started the whole American Pie thing. Allison Hannigan- Michelle the band geek.

Only role I've been able to see him as not Daryl is Death Stranding and that might just be because it was a game character. Either that or Kojima has the magic touch.

Jennifer Aniston: Other than her pornstar impersonation in Horrible Bosses/Horrible Bosses 2, she has *always* sucked. Just plays "Rachel Greene from Friends" in every single role.
Dwayne Johnson: Can't think of any good movies of his, besides Fast 5. I thought he was actually good in that movie.
Jason Statham: "O'im Jayson Sta'ham, yeh? O'im gun' kick ya teef down ya throat yeh?" Same character in *every* movie. Awful!

Melissa McCarthy is another person she is the same character in every movie. I didn't mind it in Bridesmaids and then she was that person in every film. If she is in a movie now I don't watch it.
