Wrestling games in history have all had game play that treats pro wrestling like a real sport. I'd love to see a wrestling game in which it really feels like you're in the business. Before each match your character meets with the promoter to go over the finish. Then, your goal during the match is to call spots, tell a story, and make sure the finish goes as planned. The game could throw in wrinkles to fuck up your finish so that you'd have to think on the spot. You could screw over other talent by making them look bad (adding a politicking element to the game), use your success to climb the ladder and get a push, etc.
