30 Minutes or Less

Director: Ruben Fleischer
Starring: Jesse Eisenberg, Aziz Ansari, Danny McBride, Nick Swardson
Release Date: 12th August 2011

Trailer:

This trailer keeps airing during RAW and I am very tempted to see it. I rarely go to the cinemas these days because it is ridiculously over priced but I think that I would go and see this rather than wait for it to come out on DVD. I am a fan of Aziz Ansari on Parks and Recreation and I am a huge fan of Nick Swardson (check out his work as Terry on Reno 911!) so that is two big pluses.

Anyone else thinking of seeing this?

I plan to see it but I'd be more interested in seeing the events that the writers claim "they had no prior knowledge of" basically the same premise but in real life the dude died after a standoff with police who didn't believe he was wired to explode

Oh, I will be seeing this. At my theater, movies are only 2 bucks, so I see any flick I can. Can't really beat that price haha.

The commercials have been airing like crazy, and it only makes me want to see it so much more. I have a bad gut feeling that in the end though, the movie will be a huge flop...I hope not.

Used to be Free, then went to a buck and a free drink, and now it's 2 dollars, and $1.30 for a drink. So it's still pretty insane. It breaks my bank every weekend haha.

I go every weekend, and I try to see all the movies I can. I've really gotten into it. I mean, you can't beat a night out for under 10 dollars.

It costs me close to $20 and that is before I even consider food/drink. That is why I rarely go because it is so expensive and I don't mind just waiting a bit longer to rent the DVD. If I do go I just get a drink though. I wish movies were that cheap here because if they were I would go regularly. When I was younger they were less than $10 and that was a bargin so I would go at least once a month.

I just checked the Australian release date and it is 13th of October so I have a long time to wait before I see this. If anyone sees it let me know if it is worth seeing.

Same here Troy on the prices...
Only thing keeping me from seeing this movie is Nick Swardson. He does terrible movies with weird pigeon holed roles.

The only movie I have seen him in was Blades of Glory and that was an odd role but I have no other movies to compare it to. His work in Reno 911 is what makes me want to to see it because he was hilarious in that and I hope he can translate that into good movie roles.
