Directed by Danny Boyle.

Written by Danny Boyle and Alex Garland.

28 Years Later is the first in a planned trilogy of movies, though no studio is attached to the project yet. The story of 28 Years Later is unknown, but it will likely feature a time jump that explores the fate of humanity many years after the rage virus outbreak.

Very excited Boyle is finally getting around to doing another one of these movies. Days Later is in my all-time favourite horror films, I rewatch it pretty often. That is a great cast list they've gathered so far, I am especially happy to see Jack O'Connell as part of it. He's a very good actor and often underrated.

I've never watched 28 Days Later and me being a fan of Zombie/Virus killing the World type of Shows and Movies I might need to check it out. Not enough people talk about the Queen Jodie Comer that needs to change.

I love Jodie Comer. I watched Free Guy recently and she was so good in that with Ryan Reynolds.

I'd definitely recommend giving 28 Days Later a go. It's a really good movie that has stood the test of time. Even the gritty, low budget direction style just seems to favour it, as it ends up giving it a lot of atmosphere in my opinion. Cillain Murphy is of course outstanding in it too.

28 Days was a better overall movie but 28 Weeks had the most disturbing scene where Robert Carlyle got infected and punched the life out his wife who was strapped to a bed

That scene stuck with me for the longest time. Carlyle's acting was really great in Weeks. I also highlight the opening scene as one of my favourite scenes ever filmed. It was a masterclass really in storytelling, drama and tension. The whole build-up and chase scene by the infected was incredible.

Love both films but do think Days is superior. The opening sequence in Weeks is insane though.

I can’t wait to see what they do with this new film. I’m so glad Boyle is on board with it too, that gives me hope.

Both are great but I will never forget seeing the opening of 28 Weeks Later at the cinema. Everyone was on the edge of their seats, then you could hear sighs of relief when Carlyle managed to escape.
