2022 NFL Survivor: Winners Announced!

Doom

La Bestia
-Blaine & HoHo both picked the Ravens. The Ravens soundly beat the Jets on the road with no issue, 24-9. You are both SAFE.

-Blaze decides to pick the Saints over his favorite team, the Falcons. *cue soap opera music* Fortunately, it paid off as the Saints won with a huge comeback, no offense dude. As a result, you're SAFE.

-Jimmy King picks the newly named Washington team, the Commanders, to beat the Jaguars in their own backyard. The result: The Commanders get the W, with a score of 28-22. Well done! You're SAFE.

-Juice pick the Seahawks to beat the favored Broncos. The gamble finally paid off as the Seahawks, with their quarterback Geno Smith. Yes, Geno Smith, lead the team to a shocking 17-16 win, spoiling Russell Wilson's return to Seattle. Good job Juice. You're SAFE!

-Haza and OMB both pick the Colts over the Texans. After leading the Colts 20-3 in the third quarter, the Colts made a huge comeback, scoring 17 unanswered points, to take the game to overtime. Sadly, neither team scored, neither team won as the game ended with a tie. This has happened before when somebody picks the team that ends up tying instead of winning or losing. To make things fair, since they didn't lose, or win, y'all are declared SAFE.

Now for those who were unfortunate after Week 1.

-Me and Chris picked the heavily favorite Titans, in their attempts to start the season 1-0. In surprising fashion, the Giants showed up by overcoming a 13-point deficient to tie the game and scored a touchdown and successfully gambled on a two-point conversion to win the game. What a game. But unfortunately, that gives me and Chris a
STRIKE as a result.

-Jobber Doink and Southerner (Stallion) both picked the Broncos. Russell Wilson faces his old team on the road to start off the season. Unfortunately, they didn't muster enough points to make a comeback as they lose the game 17-16 in a surprising loss on the road for the favored Broncos. Sorry guys, but you both receive a
STRIKE.

-Booty picked the Panthers over the Browns. Like Russ, Baker Mayfield faces his old team, the Browns, hoping to get a victory over his former employer. In a highly contested matchup in the fourth quarter, it was Browns kicker Cade York that gave the Browns the last laugh, kicking the 58-yard game-winning field goal with 1:05 left, as the Panthers lose 26-24. Tough break Booty. Hate to say it, but that's a STRIKE.

-Deth wasn't around to make her pick. I do want to apologize for not giving you a heads up. That'll be STRIKE. Please forgive me of my error.

Here are the results:
