It appears that TNA will only have three 3-hour PPVs this year with Lockdown in March, Slammiversary in June and Bound For Glory in October. The plan as of now is to continue the free TV specials and One Night Only PPVs during the off-months. TNA previously announced four epic PPVs a year but Genesis was switched to a Spike special.

Would be nice to see the TV specials actually have some PPV quality matches as Genesis was pretty much a joke in terms of actual wrestling.

Over/under on how many PPVs TNA has in 2014 is 2.5. They won't be seeing Bound for Glory

I really wish if TNA do those "impacts with PPV names even though we all know it's still the same impact" they would have it be special and make them 3 hours like when WWE use to do them, splitting them into 2 weeks is super fuckin' Blue.

You pretty much completely summed it up perfectly. The Genesis debacle still has me in stitches. The announced card for the "two" weeks of Genesis, Jesus Christ All-Mighty!

Makes sense though when you consider how low things have gotten. It still won't improve things until they start making these events special, but fincially I can see the sense.

How long before TNA tries to launch a TNA Network?

I think their TV PPV's would be more special if they at least changed the stage and ring skirt. Come on, we all know they have old Destination X ring skirts, and graphics, and all Genesis ring skirts and graphics yet they don't even go that extra mile. They just act as if its a normal Impact.
