If he stays on pace he's a HOF shoe-in.. even with those 2 wasted years in Buffalo (I don't think he reached his prime until he got to Seattle and he is currently in his prime), his first 2 seasons in Buffalo he had 1,000+ yds.. but his numbers in Seattle and, after, February 1st having his second SB ring, with possible more to come. By the time he retires (around 2020 or so) he'll have between 12 and 15k rushing yards with over 100 TDs, possibly 150. Definite HOF numbers, there is no doubt in my mind. A career ending injury (knock on wood) would be the only thing to stop him.

I doubt he plays that long. There have already been talks of him retiring after last season and now this season.

I guess you could say now is his prime, but his play has really been very consistent during his career. Those Buffalo teams were just bad and he was in the dog house, but he was still the same player he is today.

There's talks, but have any of them came from him? He knows how good he has it in Seattle and that with a young QB and a defense that still has at least 5 good years left in them that the Seahawks' winning ways are not stopping anytime soon. Many have referred to him as a smart man and the smartest thing you can do in pro sports is stick with a winning team. (Unless you're a Pats fan and they are playing the Giants in the SB.. man I still enjoy that.)

Problem also is he is due a lot of money and they have mouths to feed, namely Russel Wilson. So we will see. I hope he plays for as long as he stays healthy and wins some SB MVPs.

Jason Worilds would be a solid signing IMO, I think Foles and Sanchez will be gone and Mariota or Hundley with someone else will be the new QBs.

Gronk for sure has better hands but I've never seen a TE welcome pain like my boy Shockey. Lynch is that type of way too which is why Id break the bank to get him this off-season. Lynch will never go to east coast after buffalo. Bidding war up the entire west coast. My gut says Oakland

The ONLY thing about lynch is he does take hits, even though he comes out on top mosr of the time. My boy shock basically lost 5 years playing that way. Look at guys who are still playin. Gates, witten, etc. Shockey just abused thay body fast. My GPA warned me from day 1 that between the way he played and alienated other players hed have a short career. He eventually lost a step but imo still could have been serviceable had he been a leader, matured, etc. He ended up being more trouble than he is worth. A guy with HOF talent, wasted. They always say its better to burn out than fade away, but he clearly got blacklisted and faded away. Same with T.O. Forever my second fav giant behind Gap Tooth Strahan. B4 haters says "lt" I only seen him play in espn classic games and highlights but I'm aware GOAT backer.

Edit: My gpa swears Bavaro was just like Shockey but better. Obvy never seen him play
