Ziggler won the US title on June 19th 2011 at Capitol Punishment from Kofi Kingston. He is the current champion

Slater won the US title from Greg Valentine on December 14th 1983 in Shelby, North Carolina. He lost the title to Ricky Steamboat on April 21st 1984 in Greensboro, North Carolina.

My vote goes for Ziggler purely because he has the time to make this a great title reign.
