Romo is a clutch situation choke artist who folds under pressure better than any quarterback in the league. Even when the situation isn't that dire... as it was at the end of last season...     And you saw how often the Pats used the 2-TE formation last season. If anything happens to Hernandez or Gronk, it would change their entire offensive strategy if they didn't have depth at that position. I really wouldn't be surprised if the Pats kept 4 x TE's on their roster as an insurance...

    I disagree. The Pats don't need a blocking TE because they rarely run the ball. In a 2-WR singleback o formation, Shiancoe and Hernandez can stretch the d like a 4-WR package does and it dares the d to stay in their base formation. That's going to give the Pats several mismatches to exploit...

    I think it's more less a case of "BREES not getting it done with the Saints". With all the bs going down there, he better make sure his grandchildren's grandchildren are set for life with the money the Saints give him, otherwise why bother? If I'm Brees, I either get paid or get out.
