Doesn't make much sense to me either, it is like he had already given up on the chance to finish top four and so rested the stars. As you said it would have made a lot more sense to rest them against Blackburn since they still should win even with a depleted side. -

That's terrible that they are throwing away more than a centuries history just because they want to make some money out of it. Surely they realise that if you have a popular enough brand it will sell regardless of the colour. I hope for the fans sake that they pump money into making it a quality... -

Caught some highlights from Liverpool and Everton's FA Cup semi-final. The first two goals were due to terrible defence and it was strange seeing it come from two good teams. Happy to see QPR win, not sure why we seem to do alright against some top teams yet perform badly the rest of the time. Really hoping that we can get out of the relegation zone because it would be horrible to drop back down right after being promoted. -

If they all happened the same day that he scored then that would be a creepy coincidence but one of them happened three days after so it isn't that closely linked. I am sure that when he next scores a lot of people will be keeping an eye out on the entertainment news to see if anyone famous dies. -

It is looking pretty desperate at the moment but I haven't given up hope yet. Paul Scholes followed Henry's lead on the weekend by scoring on his return to the PL, he has come out of retirement to help an injury depleted side and he had the perfect start. -

Apparently QPR are interested in signing Tim Cahill. Would be a huge signing if it happens but Cahill still has two and a half years left on his Everton deal and I can't see him leaving. -

Can't believe that there was yet another upset. Very impressive display by Newcastle to beat United so convincingly. Tim Howard's goal was awesome to watch, got a nice bounce once it hit but the defenders should never have allowed it to bounce.
