Rewatched Point Break last night and still love it. Such a entertaining rush of a movie. Nicely cast too. Shame Swayze didn't play more villains. Great music and visuals too. The remake can take a running jump :p Ray Winstone taking the Busey role is a crime!:mad:
Re-watched Shallow Grave the other night. It was Danny Boyle's first movie and was made for very little money. Its a good example of how to make a really effective indie movie, largely all set in the one flat and with a slow build and proper characters. I think its just as good as...
Watched this last night and really enjoyed it. Its a really sharp, well played satire, with some good twists and decent tension. Stylish also with a nice score. Rosamund Pike is great, best role since Gone Girl and strong supporting cast too.
Finally caught up with The Founder last night. Thought it was great. Its the perfect role for Michael Keaton, but was cast really well throughout. Its a intriuging and quirky film about the growth of McDonalds as a business, by the end its a more human and sad film.
Finally watched Super 8 tonight and I really enjoyed it.
Also watched my first 2021 new release a horror movie called The Call. Which felt like a January horror release. In other words "It
