  • Who knows what the future holds man. Maybe we will cross paths at some point and feud or even just have a match. Maybe if we do have a match, it'll be after you win that European Championship this week hey? ;)
Yeah don't worry about not getting a PPV match, it happens. You were just one of the guys who didn't get one this time round, but I'm positive that if you continue to show you're a reliable TTer than you'll get a match or even a title shot.
It seems like that's becoming the norm with feds. People get caught up in the hype of a new fed or a new group of Owners for the first few weeks, then they're always, coincidentally, busy. Those who are actually serious are the ones who continue to TT frequently and TT multiple times for their matches, not just a last minute TT.
And I can see into the Staff section, so I did see it but I haven't got to read any of it.
You are correct. It was on it's own forum but moved here when CWF was forced to close, probably because it was shit. Troy offered me the chance to have my own fed, but I decided to ask Itchweed (who created UWF) if he wanted to move UWF to a bigger forum to help it grow. Sure enough it came over, was going well for the first few weeks, then people stopped TTing. The same thing seems to have happened again, which is pathetic really.
Yeah most of the guys involved with UWF are guys who have been TTing for a few years. There really aren't a whole lot of new guys like you, which is an essential requirement for a fed to succeed.
UWF is pretty much set out the same way as ETW, UCW and CWA. In fact UWF was originally created due to UCW going under.
Well ETW, UCW and CWA were all on PWM. ETW was the main one before UCW moved over from a different forum, then theyw ere both about equal before ETW went bottoms up. UCW was on it's own for a bit before CWA came along, but it never matched UCW. There WAS a fed on here called CWF, but it doesn't deserve to be mentioned in the same breath as the other three. I'd say it went UCW > ETW > CWA.
That show is actually a bunch of us picking up old characters that we used. Most people that were involved in ETW and/or UCW unfortunately aren't around anymore.
Yeah, UCW was at it's biggest point then. Two brands were going very strong, the third had been going along well, and due to the amount of characters being picked up, whether that's through new members or existing ones picking up a second and sometimes third character, a fourth brand was necessary. Surprising thing is we had enough writers for all four brands, which is crazy considering not alot of people wanna write anymore. It's a tough job, one I've never taken on other than the occasional match.
Before UCW was on PWM there was a fed called ETW that had three brands going along strongly, so a lot of us have been in some strong feds. Sad thing is our form of e-fedding is dying.
That's fine man, don't bother taking the risk. I'm not sure if the guys here will infract you or not for mentioning the site, but best not take the risk. By the sounds of it I don't know who you are, so that's fine.
A lot of us in UWF used to e-fed over on PWM when the site was actually bustling with activity. At one point we had a fed there called UCW and it had just started it's FOURTH brand before the site went down for an entire week and has never been the same since. We couldn't sustain a fed there anymore, so they ended, even though Andrew has one there now as far as I know.
It wasn't that tough to pull off when that's how he was on WWE television. I can't even remember how I did it though haha.
Well I'll have to keep an eye out. Btw, is this the first fed you've TTed in, or do I know you from somewhere else? It's just your TTing style is one I've seen before.
Nah not for very long, maybe a month or two. UWF began on a different forum at the very end of December and I last TTed with him at the end of February, so yeah around 2 months. I used to play him years ago when he was The Chick Magnet and had some decent success.
I think it all comes with experience. You'll get the hang of TTing a little better as you progress. Just try to imagine that Miz would actually say what you're typing, also try watching some of his promos on YouTube. That's how I first learnt to play some characters years ago.
I managed to get a shot at the UWF Undisputed Championship pretty quickly, but my laptop died when writing up a TT so I never really challenged for it. The match went ahead and Miz lost, so I decided to take a break. This was back at the end of February, so Miz hadn't been used until you picked him up. All I can give you is that he had a Undisputed Championship match in the past.
I like your Miz man, you're doing well. The fact you're involved in a Contender's match against Chase, rawisrey and Dresden, three very experienced TTers, shows how well you're going already. Keep it up :)
All good man. I've got years of experience TTing with guys like rawisrey, so if you have any questions then feel free to ask. Just to answer yours, by the looks of your thread an order has been established so we tend to stick with it unless somebody hasn't posted for a few days. If you're next in the order then you can go, but only in those circumstances.
Btw, hope you go well with Miz. I was the last to play him in UWF, so I wanna see him succeed :p
