I found the list on another board, so c/p it here.

Mayweather had the amazing Mania spectacle with Show, so I don't have a problem with him making the list, especially since he's in the 90s. Mayweather showed great charisma, his spots were timed well and he came across as a genuine asshole.

You're forgetting that Big Show started out as a heel in the storyline (Mayweather coming to Mysterio's resuce, you remember?)... They had to flip the script because Mayweather didn't grasp the roles being played and came off like more of an asshole than Show.

THAT is a 100% FAIL as a worker.

To me, that's more impressive than some X-Division gymnast doing a backflip.

I don't mindlessly mark for highflying, but in this case, just NO.

I don't understand the Mark Henry hate. Do you guys not like Vader, either? Do you have something against big men in pro wrestling? What was wrong with Henry's ECW work?

Jeeeez, regardless of what I think of Mark Henry, he's no Vader...

I didn't expect all these negative comments.

Oh well.....

The list is still pure retardism. I was gonna say that it was made by a 6 year old by Cena isn't number one and Edge is on the list.

That was bad booking. Of course a wrestling crowd will cheer for their guy over some boxer. Mayweather's also not exactly a big fan favorite in the boxing world.

If you can appreciate Vader's wrestling ability, no reason why you can't appreciate Henry's.

What would be your top 10?

Look man, it really doesn't matter what are our list could be or how they might look like...that list is complete garbage. There's no way to sugar coat it, there's no way to minimize it's mediocrity. The list just sucks.

I am hardly a casual fan seeing how I am part of the IWC, and I love how you infere that I only watch WWE.

And seeing how guys like Mark Henry and Big Show are above some of your indy guys, I doubt the list was made to please the smarks neither.

All that noise, but you're not saying anything. Since you're not a casual fan and don't only watch WWE, you could at least tell me what's wrong with the top 5.

Seeign how it's a Top 100 list, even if Top 5 might not be the worst thing on the face of this Earth, the list still sucks.

It sucks because you don't know the non-WWE/TNA wrestlers?

Ok dude, you win. The only reason that list sucks is because I don't know the wrestlers who aren't from WWE and TNA (I guess I got an upgrade from just knowing the WWE).

First of, I do know the wrestlers on that list, and even if I didn't, and I based my opinion on WWE/TNA talent, the order in which they are set is ridiculous.

I see you're conveniently avoiding my request. You can talk the talk, too bad you can't walk the walk.

I already answered that to you:

It's a TOP 100 list, even if there's nothing wrong with the Top 5 (which there is), there's still 95 other names in there.

But if you want the Top 5 to get analyzed, no problem, I'll do it:

3. Alexander Otsuka (12 votes including 2 top 5 votes and 4 top 10 votes, 1009 points)
2. Blue Panther (12 votes including 5 first-place votes and 6 top five votes, 1034 points)
1. Yuki Ishikawa (13 votes including 4 first-place votes and 6 top 5 votes, 1089 points)

I don't agree with this Top 3 if you evaluate them in general, but since the list is supposely based in in ring work, I'll give you the bye.

5. Matt Hardy (13 votes including 2 top 5 votes, 909 votes)
4. Bryan Danielson (13 votes including 5 top 5 votes, 943 points)

Danielson was good, but has been, and especially this year, outperformed and outwrestled many times by other ROH talent.

And Matt Hardy...my God, you are truly putting Matt Hardy as the best US wrestler with main stream exposure in the list. Do I really have to go in depth to explain how that is wrong.

Now that I have started, let me point out some more reasons why the list fails:

- Rey Mysterio was out for most of 2008, and since his return, while his matches have been good, the only ones that you can look back and say OMFG are Edge vs Rey RR and CM Punk vs Rey Armageddon. That hardly makes you the 6th in the list.

- Finlay? Oh yeah, I guess having a comedy act as the finish for all his matches do the trick.

- Evan Bourne? FCW is barely countable, and in WWE he has had 20 matches max, in which I can bet only his match against Matt Hardy went over 10 minutes.

- Big Show and Mark Henry in Top 20, while HBK is in the 50's.

- Negro Casas being in there

- Festus, my God, Festus being in there

- Jobber Chavo Guerrero topping the likes of John Morrison, KENTA, HBK.

- AJ Styles barely making the list.

- Kurt Angle, Triple H, Edge, Samoa Joe, Jerry Lynn not making the list.

- Floyd Mayweather, who had one match in 2008, making the list.

Do you want me to continue?

^^^^Way to ignore the entirety of CMS's reply. : pffffffffffffff :

That was bad booking. Of course a wrestling crowd will cheer for their guy over some boxer. Mayweather's also not exactly a big fan favorite in the boxing world.

That doesn't come into it.... The guy had one match/angle in 2008 and FUCKED IT UP and thus has no place on a 'best worker of 2008' list. Anything else is another debate.

Elaborate?

You said, Show/Mayweather was better than a spot-fest. As much as I'm not a big fan of that style, I don't see how a failed angle is better than ANYTHING.

If you can appreciate Vader's wrestling ability, no reason why you can't appreciate Henry's.

I didn't say I didn't appreciate Henry, but he is not in Vader's league.
