Nice vids. Thanks. Haven't seen those. The Fat Joe one is solid. The Joe Budden one is a good album track, however didnt think this one needed a video.

As for your Top 5, it appears its based on your likings. So it's hard to argue with what you like. Mine is different, but i like a little more southern style. Well, it depends on my mood. As for my thoughts on those rappers.

Drake- He's alright. I haven't heard anything great to make him the #1 rapper yet.

Tyga - Again, he's alright. I've heard some good stuff, but nothing out of this world.

Lupe - Solid. I think the best is yet to come from Lupe.

Cool Kids - I like them. Bringing back some old school flavor.

Kanye - One of the best today, imo.

Em's album is coming out in May, just in time for my birthday FTW.

Back on Topic Kanye is imo the best in the game at the Moment, next to Nas and Game (No pun inteneded).

You have to download Comeback Season & So Far Gone mixtapes. To me, Drake is the only relevant rapper out right now. Check out these two tracks from Drake. It might change your thoughts on him or not.

I got the So far gone mixtape....I had the Comeback Season one a while back, but never really listened to it much and lost it. I tried looking for it a few months ago with no luck.

I think Drake is a great lyricist, his voice is a little plain for me. To me, it's tough to judge someone from Mixtapes too. It's a completely different game once he releases a commercial album.

So far Gone is a pretty good album, It sounds too much like 808's and heartbreaks though. Nov 18 is cool, (probably cause its a southern track) Maybe its cause the sound quality is messed up on the album is why i dont listen to it more. I like Lets call it off too. Idk, not really an album i like to listen to in the car, which is where i listen to most of my music. Still a good album. More of something I'd listen to chillin in the house. I'd probably give it a 7.5-8.0/10

^ I'm shocked no "Pop, Lock & Drop It Pt.2"

On Drake, Comeback Season > So Far Gone. Even Room For Improvement deserves a download.

My Top 5, as of right now.

1. Cam'ron
2. Kid Cudi
3. Slim Thug
4. Lloyd Banks
5. Jadakiss

Honorable Mention: The Dream. Love Vs. Money is the best album so far this year.

Yep, your right. Dre sent me a like for Comeback season, real good mixtape. I'll say 9.25/10 after some quick listens.

Interesting top 5. Slim Thug is one of my favorites, but i haven't liked his new stuff all that much yet. Cudi has been released some hot tracks. I haven't heard anything new from Banks. I think Jada's album is going to be very good. Here's my top 5

Wale
Cudi
Florida ( I know i said i wasn't a big fan, but he's released some good songs the past month)
Ti (cause Papertrail)
Kanye (808's)

I thought the Dreams album was pretty good too. Not much has been released this year, but your probably right. Joe Budden and 8ball's albums were good, but i think the Dreams were a little better.

Is it me or The Cool Kids are like a cross between the Beastie Boys and EPMD? They resemble the Beastie Boys because they're respected for representing themselves as hipsters and doing their own style/swag. When it comes to EPMD, their stage presence in their music videos is so similar to EPMD back when they were young.

@ Montana - I always thought Thugga was the best outta the Still Tippin dudes (Mike Jones and Paul Wall). Thugga has been hitting up the airwaves with freestyles. Banks is the same, singles every two weeks or so and lets not forget Officer Down

Don't know what it is bout Flo Rida but he can just pick hot beats. I'm kinda off the Wale bus right now, haven't heard nothing from him (except features with Young Chris, Searching).

@ Milly - Beatie Boys are probably the only real comparision that wouldn't start an arguement. What they rhyme about is totally diff from average rappers. LOTNS, Das Efx, Nice & Smooth would be realistic comparions too. But... Cool Kids beats > rhymes.

P.S.

Fat Mike Jones > This Mike Jones

KiD CuDi Says He Quiting After Debut Album

KiD CuDi says that his first album will be his last. In a new entry in his blog, KiD CuDi said that after his first LP that will hit stores this summer he will "not making any more solo albums." CuDi says that he plans on "Fallin back on being a artist." CuDi says that it's just too much stating "the drama that comes with it is more overwhelming than the shit I was dealing wit when I was piss poor broke."

KiD CuDi says that his "friends get mad at me, say ive changed" and that even fellow upcommer rapper Wale is "worried about me cuz of shit he hears." CuDi doesn't understand all the hate, he says asks "does my music poke fun at others? do i talk shit about people n my music? I already went to high school once, and got expelled cuz it wasn't for me." KiD CuDi finished up saying "Ima drop out this shit before ★★★★★z try and crucify me."

In realted news, KiD CuDi released his 2nd video, this time for the track "Superboo." [watch here] The new video is directed by Tishaun Dawson and features The Beautiful Warriors so make sure you [watch here] In the past CuDi has released not one but two versions of his "Day N Nite" single. Saigon, Lupe and fuckin Game have all said that shit. CuDi is actin real emo right now and needs to cut that shit out! Start coming out with music instead of blogs/vlogs expressing your sorrows on a daily.

CuDi must of seen this video and decided to cop out

Can I get you guys' thoughts on this Aussie rapper? His name's 360. I'm pretty sure this is his lead single.

How Good?

This is also another song that's been released. It's him collaborating with another Aussie, Pez.
